We recently had the pleasure of experiencing the Maid of the Mist and Cave of the Winds tours in Niagara Falls, NY, and it was an unforgettable adventure for our family. The guided trolley ride added to the convenience and enjoyment, providing seamless transportation between the attractions.

Starting with the Maid of the Mist, the boat ride brought us astonishingly close to the powerful falls. The sight and sound of the cascading water were breathtaking, and we took numerous photos to capture the stunning views. Despite getting a little wet, the experience was exhilarating and absolutely worth it.

The Cave of the Winds tour was equally impressive. Walking along the wooden platforms, we got to feel the mist and sheer force of the Bridal Veil Falls up close. The guide provided fascinating insights into the history and geology of the falls, enriching our appreciation of this natural wonder.

We thought the tour was the perfect way to see Niagara Falls for the first time. We received a text two days before the scheduled tour with details of when, where, and what time to meet the tour guide. It detailed what he would be wearing also, khaki pants and blue polo. It was spot on. Billy was our tour guide, and we thought he was great. He did a really nice job of interacting with everyone in the group before he started the tour. He regularly made sure everyone could hear him. Anytime there was a bathroom or a break off point he was clear to point out when and where we would be meeting back up. He was very funny and courageous even when there wasn't much laughter at times. We could certainly tell that he loves his job and it made the tour that much better for us. We did the tour with the Maid of the Mist, Cave of the Winds, and the Trolley.

Our tour guide was Billy and he's the GOAT (greatest of all tour guides!). The maid of the mist was incredible and took us on a showing of the most beautiful falls you can see. The boat even spun around in a 360 to allow you to capture the breathtaking scenery while right next to the falls. Along the way, Billy told us about the history of the falls and different people who attempted to cross the falls. We then went up to the observation tower to see the falls from up high, came back down for more history (and lots of puns! 😁) and ended with a ticket to the cave of the winds. Cave of the winds is one of the most interactive excursions you can book at Niagra. You start by entering a room with history facts and viewers, then watch a short video on the history with nearly an IMAX experience, then finally get to go to an elevator that descends to take you to the stairs leading up to the falls where you can literally stand right under the falls and feel the power of them crashing against your back. Your poncho won't do much to stop you getting drenched should you choose to go directly under, but it's a worthwhile...
