If more people knew how incredibly healing these springs are this place would be a Mad house. Apparently these springs were healing tons of people back in the days (with doctors and nurses in a clinic to back it up), but in came the politics and they destroyed all the medical records of how they were administering and healing people with all kinds of chronic issues even cancer. You can still get some records from the Saratoga library but it's not as detailed as the records that were destroyed. If you have any illnesses there are some practitioners out there that can guide you as to how to drink these waters as medicine and heal. Even if you're not sick, I would still encourage you to definitely visit and bring some empty jugs with you. I believe they're a total of 19 springs. Hawthorne spring is great for constipation. Red Rock spring is fantastic for any wounds. There was a man who had a horrible wound from the war, he no longer even has a scar because of Red Rock. Do the research if you can find it....

Located just off High Rock Ave in what was once known as the "Upper Village", this quiet little park is where it all started - High Rock Spring - which has recently been restored. Tucked between the busy downtown and residential neighborhoods, High Rock Park is smaller and quieter than Congress Park. You can also find Peerless and Governor Springs under the pavilion here. There are several plaques with historical information and nearby shelters where the Farmer's Market is held Wed and Sat during the warmer months, from May to October. There is also the unique 9/11 Memorial. This area is also unique in that the rock cliff bordering the park is actually the faultline that is the source of all of Saratoga's mineral springs - and here is one of the only places to actually see it. Definitely worth a visit. Parking usually easily found on High Rock Ave running...

Springs of Saratoga bubble with tradition. The effervescence of the springs are a part of Historic Saratoga. The healing arts of Spring water. The race track and historic buildings plus a great golf course, accented by the many joys of gastronomic delights provided by local taverns and restaurants transcend your worries and leave guests...

We went to the Saratoga Farmer's Market which is only outdoors until the end of October. The 9-11 monument at the park was moving. The Farmer's market was fun on this sunny Saturday morning. Vegetables, crafts, cheese, chocolate, and music were all there for anyone to partake.

Great place to come have a few minutes peace - unless you want to take part in some of the events there and awesome farmer's market. Lots of history here in the park, and plenty of springs known for their medicinal qualities. I visit often and always enjoy.
