I was asked to leave a review prior to checkout to receive $10 off my product purchases, which I did at 5 stars based on how this order was presented and before all of the below items. I am now changing to a 3, based on my below experience:
They rang me out and I was slammed with a $1k+ bill. Needless to say I was not prepared for that. I basically had an hour facial for $460. Granted I bought products and I also had a HydraFacial as part of the facial, and this can be pricey situation. I had an add on of dermaplaning and I was charged for full dermaplaning facial. An exosomes add on of $120, which is basically a scant amount of serum dripped and wiped on the face. All of this in a tight 60 minute treatment. You would think with all of this, the facial would have been a bit longer. No prices discussed at booking and length of service should have been a bit more for everything I had. No pricing posted at check out either for compliance with NY Appearance Enhancement laws.
The next biggest issue, is that I left and looked in the mirror and I was displeased to see vellus hair all over my face. Especially after what I just payed for everything. She did use an excessive amount of oil as a prep for the dermaplaning that I felt contributed to this. The oil did not feel dry enough to be a good dermaplaning prep. Iām a firm believer of dryer skin as a prep for the dermaplaning procedure and find it more effective at removing vellus hair and the most corneocytes from the stratum corneum. My esthetician also was too light with the blade and at times the blade was dragging on the skin and her angles were not always right. She could use bit more training and experience to build confidence and effectiveness in this area.
Then there was the room I had my facial in. It was basically a tight closet space with a bed. Holy smokes, the smallest esthetics room Iāve ever seen or been in and I am an avid spa goer. To be able to close the door and get out was a stretch without opening the door on myself and having to shimmying myself sideways. No one should have to do a facial in that room.

The day started with a hot stone massage with Kylie which was heaven sent - I will definitely be back to see her. She was attentive, kind, and continuously checked on me to ensure I was enjoying myself throughout the day - not to mention she is an extremely skilled therapist! Next I was with Maria for the Coconut Cream Body Glow treatment and a facial. Maria was fantastic, and super knowledgeable. She made several recommendations to allow me to continue to care for my skin with the high quality products they offer. She tailored the recommendations to suit my concerns, and gave me a detailed schedule of when to use each product. The Coconut Cream Body Glow was just OK in my opinion, I probably wouldn't have opted for it outside of the package. Last but not least I visited with Mimi for a mani/pedi. She was as lovely as the other women, and her attention to detail was outstanding. My nails leave a lot to be desired because I habitually pick at my cuticles when I'm anxious. She made my hands look and feel like a million bucks. All in all, from the receptionist to each and every employee I interacted with, it was a lovely experience and I will definitely be back to spend time with them again! Second time, for a much larger and much more expensive event, I had arranged a spa package for 4 people (nearly $700) and received a call about a week before saying that they could no longer accommodate the group package, and could only offer 1 of the 4 services detailed in the package. additionally, they had to spread my group over 4 hours. They had also taken a 50% deposit meaning I overpaid by $50 after they cancelled the other services.
I wonāt go back after that. Itās my recommendation that if you have more than just yourself, keep looking for other places that can accommodate you.
Overall itās a nice environment but that blatant lack of organization at my expense...
