If you live in town there is simply no more convenient market. Easy and abundant parking and they have everything you need by way of groceries. Organicy foods are always more expensive but they always have sales and if you are flexible about what you are looking for its very reasonable.
I grew up in the Bj's era and buying in crazy bulk. With Four Season, I've adjusted my shopping habits to get only what I need when I need it. I go to the store everyday for about five minutes and pick a few things up. The result I'm getting really fresh food that doesn't need to be, or can't be preserved. I'm wasting virtually nothing and find that my diet is significantly improved.
Four Seasons supports local farmers and businesses and they have been leading the way in bringing nutritious food to families for many years now. For the year that they have been open I'm honestly living a better life by having higher quality foods.... well, maybe a little too much cheese and chocolate as they have plenty of those things. They are a business with a conscience and values that I'm happy to support.
It'd be nice if they were open until 10pm but you can't have everything...
Read moreVisiting a friend in Saratoga she picked up vegan wraps for breakfast and they were delicious. When we left to head home we stopped at Four Seasons Natural Food Store to check it out. Starting with the large parking lot it’s a beautiful store. The inside is well laid out with a great selection of food and other health items.
We picked up grocery items plus a sandwich and chips to share on our 90 minute drive home as well as an Eggplant Parmesan to share for dinner along with a salad and vegetables.
The workers were all friendly and helpful. Three staff were working at the take out cafe station making sandwiches and salads. A tip is to order from there first as you do your other shopping so you don’t have to wait as they put together your items. It took about ten minutes for us to get our order.
My wish list would be an EV charger. Our local healthy food store has a double plug charger which isn’t free but reasonably priced. It’s a statement about sustainability as much as it’s a useful option. Since it’s not free it even makes the store a...
Read moreI drove an hour to spend way too much money on food and products that I have to have due to health issues. That is a huge part of what keeps stores like this in business, so I don't expect to get an attitude when I ask if a product is gluten free. Nor do I expect the manager to say "I don't know what you want from me" when I tell him I am having issues with my eyesight and therefore having a difficult time figuring out which product is the one I need because I can't read the labels on the top shelf where the product line was stocked. Or, for salespeople to say "I don't know the answer to your question but you can google it". Then AFTER making my purchase without the things I couldn't get an answer about, having the salesperson ask did I want them to google it for me. There were less than a hand full of people shopping and plenty of staff, all of whom were miserable and rude. The energy was very unpleasant. I ended up leaving without getting what I needed after driving all that way. Up your game...
