If you enjoy being ignored, dismissed, and treated like an afterthought, then 5th Dimension VR is the place for you. My girlfriend and I visited recently and had one of the worst customer service experiences I've ever encountered.
When we walked in, we were completely disregarded. People who arrived after us were helped immediately while we stood there, unnoticed. The gentleman on duty ā a Hispanic man with a beard ā walked past us at least five times without acknowledging our presence. After standing there for 15 minutes, I finally had to speak up and say "excuse me," to which he casually replied that he saw us but forgot to come over. Completely unacceptable. He then told us there was no availability, but by that point, the lack of professionalism and basic courtesy was clear.
5th Dimension VR has permanently lost our business. I wouldn't recommend this place to anyone who expects even the bare minimum level of respect and customer service. White Plains has too many other options ā don't waste your time or money here.
UPDATE: Response to 5th Dimension's REPLY:
Thank you for your response, but I find it disappointing that instead of taking full accountability, you felt the need to "contextualize" my experience ā as if explaining your internal challenges somehow excuses how I was treated.
The bottom line is this: your busyness is not my burden. As a guest, I can only respond to the service I personally received ā and in this case, it was poor, dismissive, and unprofessional. Attempting to reframe or soften my experience by offering excuses feels passive-aggressive and misses the larger point: respect and basic acknowledgment should never be situational.
Respect, acknowledgment, and basic customer service are not optional based on how busy you are. They are the bare minimum.
No, I will not be contacting you PRIVATELY. I have no interest in being "handled" behind closed doors. My review stands ā and Iām glad others can see exactly what kind of...

Two of the stations are duo, so if you want to play with friends right next to you, whether against them or no, youāre still close to them. Itās also good if you rather be closer to your young one. The age requirement is 8+. The other 14 stations are single.
You must go through a 10 minute training process before actually playing. The tutorial consists of how to operate your headset and fit it properly, how to maneuver the controllers and some safety tips. These headsets were like something weāve never seen before. You can even fix the lenses to make them closer, for younger children.
You can purchase 4 different timed sessions of 20, 50, 80, and 110 minutes. They offer birthdays š, corporate events, team building may even be cool. You can bring trays of food if you would like. They have a big party room, that they can also minute into something smaller for s smaller party.
The parking is good. No meters on Sundayās. Thatās when we visited š, and found a spot a block away. Thereās also the Hamilton Main Municipal Parking Building on the corner, where you...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreI came here yesterday and it was a blast. Frist time ever doing VR and it was definitely a awesome first experience. We were helped immediately and the setup was very quick and easy. The actually VR games were plentiful and had lots of options for everyone. I like the magnetic face plates for all the VR masks since its very safe and clean for everyone. I also appreciate the helpful and enthusiastic staff that was there. They were very helpful and had lots of knowledge about all the games. Overall it was a wonderful time and I do plan on going again. Highly recommend for anyone who wants to experience Virtual Reality in the white plains area.
PS: I later found after writing this that they sent us a video of us playing the VR games. It was very unexpected but very cute and thoughtful. It pretty cool having a video of us having a blast for us to remember. I thank you all for being soooo helpful, kind, and thoughtful for our first...
