The Mall at Partridge Creek is a great place to shop, it's new and offers a great shopping experience.
It is an outdoor mall that has a lot going for it, it's a great place to walk around, shop, grab a bite to eat (I personally am fond of Brio/P.F. Changs located on the North End.), and watch a movie. During the summer they also have an outdoor stages with artists performing.
The biggest gripe about the mall is the lack of stores, the mall is small compared to most. They lack a lot of the bigger brand name stores, many of which are still located at the nearby Lakeside Mall. The mall is dog friendly, luckily owners often times are very responsible, so there is never a stepping in droppings issue.
Being in Michigan you need to check the weather before you head out to the mall, in the summer it can simply be too hot/humid to enjoy... In the winter it can also be bitter cold, the wind also seems to channel through the shops making for an even colder experience. When the weather gets nice EVERYONE in the area heads to Partridge, so if it's a nice day expect next to no parking and a crowded mall.
Overall, this is one of the few, if only outdoor malls in Michigan so it's a great shopping experience for the Metro Detroit area when the weather cooperates. However if you're looking for shops, head over to The...
Read moreWe love shopping at Partridge Creek, but my husband and I went last night, expecting hours to be pretty typical on a Friday night(that was an error on our part) we went to grab some clothes for an upcoming trip and get some stuff from VS.There is No visible signs saying they close at 7pm- I guess winter hours? But still I saw nothing upfront saying All the stores close at 7 and when I went to VS to drop a pretty penny, I wasn’t greeted, I wasn’t even told they were closing. A woman fitted me kind of begrudgingly. I get it, I worked retail and I hated having people walk in at the last minute but I had virtually no way of knowing cause the stores don’t have stickers or anything to tell their hours. The only way I knew was by a girl asking us if we needed to be let out. I’m like, “let out? No one even mentioned y’all were closed.” Obviously then I realized why I had not one person help me, which I could have really used. I instead I went on to buy $250 ish dollars online of items- It takes one minute, if that to say Hey we are actually closing. I passed several people working there, not one of them let me know until we were asked if we needed to be let out. If you are from out of town, look at the hours before you go. My husband and I don’t really mind the cold, it’s Michigan after all, I get the hours but some signage...
Read moreI love this mall. This review is solely related to the photos with Santa. I visited with my two children on Tuesday and feel compelled to put something out there to prevent others from wasting money on this below average experience. The Santa himself was fine - the photographer/cashier were awful! We arrived to find the photographer outside Santa's cabin smoking a cigarette. Lovely way to set the scene. Inside Santa's cabin, it was as if these two had zero experience with children whatsoever. No toys or bells to get the children's attention. Absolutely no effort spent to get the children to smile. They did have enough energy to try and convince me to buy the most expensive photo package, but other than that it was as if these two were sedated. I understand partridge creek built this cabin for Santa specifically, wish a little more care was given in hiring the staff. They are part of the experience afterall. I know there are lots of Santa options around, my recommendation -...
