In May I decided to trade in my Street Bob for a Street Glide. I wasn’t 100% sure what I wanted until speaking with Clinton HD. They had a wonderful promotion – NADA value on your trade when you trade for a 2019. I couldn’t pass that up – it was by far the best deal around. I happily rode to Clinton from Cedar Rapids to pick up my 2019 Street Glide Special. I had never set foot into Clinton HD so I didn’t know what to expect. I’d only spoke with staff on the phone (they are very friendly on the phone). My husband and I were greeted by everyone we came in contact with.
I had previously arranged some upgrades for my bike and parts and service had them on and ready to go. My husband had just purchased a 2019 Street Glide Special (at another dealership) and decided on some upgrades while we were shopping around. Clinton HD took time to upgrade his pipes for some Zombie Killers right on the spot!
I’ve since returned for my 1,000 mile service and I took my husband’s bike there for service as well. Even though he didn’t purchase his bike from there, they have welcomed him into the Clinton HD family and he’s continued to get upgrades and service as have I. We will continue to get our upgrades, service etc. from Clinton.

THE GUYS ATTITUDE JUST SUCKS I DONT LIKE HIM AND IM NOT THE ONLY 1. The girls that work the parts department are awesome . I swear the guy just shows up for a pay check cuz he is never there. I was just there the other day in the shop having work done to gf bike for a superise and for the 2hrs I was there the part guy was in the back cleaning his boat. Well the service department took care of the customers, Brandon in sales does his job from what I seen , Ben and digger do there's, but the part guy does nothing. When he did something last week there was 3 customers at the counter and my friend asked the guy Pete abt a starter for his bike gave him the yr and model and the nerve of the guy just opened the parts catalog to a random page and said about five hundred bucks. And then just moved on to the next customer. Read moreI purchased my 2019 street glide special from another dealership but I took a ride with the wife to Clinton HD when she traded in her bike for a 2019 street glide special. Even though she was the one making a purchase, we were both welcomed into the facility.
She’d opted for some Tab Zombie Killer slip-ons for her 2019 – I like the way they sounded so I asked what it would take to get myself a pair. Peter in parts gave me a price and installed the slip ons before my wife was even done making her purchase. He even extended the 15% off discount that was offered to my wife (for making a bike purchase) to me for being there with her.
My wife has more flexible work hours than I and was able to take both bikes to Clinton for our 1,000 mile service. I’ve had Clinton upgrade to stage I, stage II power, 12’ handle bars and grips, and a stereo upgrade. There was a minor leak after the stage II upgrade coming from the push rods – Clinton didn’t even hesitate to come to Cedar Rapids and pick up my bike (and return it) with overnight turn around time so I could have it in time for a weekend charity ride.
