First let me say I am a frequent shopper. I have been shopping/selling here for years. The five stars are for Bree only Debbie is -0
Tonight I was in to sell. I was greeted by Bree. She was on the phone with another customer but still took the initiative to at least wave to me so I knew that I was being acknowledged. When she was done on the phone she came over very friendly and wanted to know how she could help me and she was very informative and she took her time with myself and I had forgotten to bring two other items and she said no problem. Bring him in whenever we'll be here and we'll be glad to help you. A total sweetheart and a great addition to the staff there.
Now for the bad I came back about 45 minutes later and I was greeted by Debbie and she was not very friendly I asked if Bree was available. Debbie replied very, very rudely she isn't the only one here. We can all do sales. I said I understand but she told me to bring them back to her. Well at the point she pushed my basket onto the counter and walked away with an attitude.
A few minutes later she came back out with Brie and she started to do my buy and I asked. Can Bree do it? Why do you have to be in my order and she said well one does the looking and the other one puts them in which I understand but she was hovering and she was making sure she was in charge of the whole thing when I asked if the other girl could do it instead of her. She said NO She's leaving in 2 minutes at this point. I told her listen. I don't know why you're giving me an attitude but I came in and I was doing what I was asked to do and she went. I know you're in here all the time and I said exactly. I'm a very good customer I should be treated respect as anyone that comes in. I told her you're not doing that and I don't appreciate your attitude and she had an attitude with me from the time I asked for Brie until we walked out of the store
Listen. I know everybody is understaffed. Overworked but that is no excuse to disrespect somebody who is coming into your establishment to do business
I will continue to come to the store because Kelly and Kelly and Mary Sara and Brie are so wonderful. So helpful! So professional But I wanted to make it clear that Debbie is not in that category. She does not belong in the same category and she needs to learn how to have respect for a customer if she likes it or not.
Again Kelly Kelly, Sarah Mary And Mary are absolutely amazing they deserve all the credit in the world and I want to say a special Thank you to bree for being so considerate. So helpful and so caring and I also appreciate her time and her kindness.
To your response........... I do understand what you are saying, however there are no excuses for Debbie giving me an attitude or treating me the way she did.
Shift leader or not there are no excuses for being disrespectful to...
Read moreToday I visited this location and would not recommend it to anyone. I found some items that were cute and affordable but when I wanted to try stuff on I came into a problem. There was 3 workers there today and one was tagging clothes while her coworker stood by her and texted on her phone. I asked for a fitting room and the woman tagging clothes said yes, then looked at her coworker for assistance. Her coworker continued to ignore both of us and text away although she saw I needed some help. The woman tagging clothes then got me a fitting room and apologized which I then told her to not worry about it (since it wasn’t her fault). Then i went to check out where her OTHER coworker was texting and ignored me standing there for a bit. I was also selling clothes here and to that I say DONT WASTE YOUR TIME. They passed on EVERYTHING and claimed it was due to my clothes being over 2 years old. This would be fine if this was the case but I’ve bought a lot of these items within the past 6 months max and just never got around to wearing them. All my items were gently used, no stains or tears. Yet they passed on it all? I noticed that while I was checking out, the first coworker (who was texting while I needed a fitting room) was using baby wipes to try and get the stains out of a dated dress. It only took a few minutes for them to have my clothes ready, which makes me feel like they didn’t actually look through them. I have never left a negative review anywhere but I felt very out of place and unwelcome here. This is unfortunate because you can find some cute stuff here but it’s...
Read moreDisappointed with My Experience at Clothes Mentor in Bridgeville
I visited Clothes Mentor yesterday with high hopes, bringing in two baskets of clothes and some shoes. Unfortunately, my experience was very disappointing.
Right away, I felt like the staff didn’t take the time to properly review my items. They glanced at a pair of shoes still in the box and dismissed them as outdated—which I understand to a point, but they were in perfect condition. They told me the review would take about 15 minutes, but they texted within 6 minutes and said they had reviewed everything and wouldn’t be accepting any of it. The totes were exactly as l left them so I don’t believe they reviewed anything.
This was surprising because my baskets contained several high-quality, designer items that I believe would have sold quickly in their store if given a proper look. These included: • A new Eloquii cropped denim jacket • A brand-new Land’s End shirt dress (recently purchased, just didn’t fit) • Multiple Alfani pieces • A Calvin Klein denim jacket and another Calvin Klein jacket • A Tamari jacket • Other gently worn, high-end items (most worn only once or twice) Many , Calvin Klein, I.n.c , Alfani tops and pants.
I left feeling like my items weren’t given a fair chance. It seemed like they rushed through without truly considering the value and quality of what I brought in. I genuinely believe they missed out, as many of these items wouldn’t have stayed on the racks for long.
Overall, this was a very disappointing experience, and I hope they take more care with future...
