Regal Southpark Mall — Attraction in Colonial Heights

Customer service is not important to these pubescent concession attendees as well as the ticket ripper who felt it was more important to LeAn against the managers Desk than stay out by his post. When i brought the issue we had with the concession service she just gave me a "yeah, and you expected better" look. Instead of an.apology i got a reply that it was a training issue and nothing she could do now.

Update 6/19/2018: almost a year later and the same customer sh##*y service prevails. I guess they follow the rules that if don't work right keep doing it wrong. Waited for 15 minutes because of large groups of kids getting popcorn and then the woman behind me was getting a refill And bragging how she brings in her own cups and buckets because of the Free refills...she also states that she brings in a bag full of candy and never been caught...the point to this is the fast that I bought my drinks and waited 15 minutes only to have cashier fill this thief's refill before taking my order. I called out the cashier and she told me that refills come first....The f'ing movies haven't even started but nothing strange about refilling drinks after just getting one 25 minutes earlier...SO, moral to this story is bring candy, save your large cups and buckets because you get fast service and steal from them with their approval...

Theater itself is usually ok good quality picture. Audio has been too loud or too quiet a few times. Main issues are concession staff speed I've been in line 12/15 minutes for three families in front of me to get a large popcorn a couple drinks and a kids pack but most of the time the order is one to three items and still takes forever to get a drink and ring them up. Also popcorn very often is unseasoned and bland and most of the time at this particular location if my wife orders a pizza it comes out half cooked and raw in the middle a few times and I'm not missing 30 minutes of a movie to return it and wait for another one to be screwed up. And the last time I ordered her hot food (crimes of grindlewald release) I waited 12 minutes or so after paying at the hot food pick up station the staff from the kitchen who was very friendly and professional asked what I was waiting for and when I told him he said they never put the order in it would be another 8 to ten minutes before it was done. So I spent 25/30 minutes waiting for the food after I paid for it. Thankfully we got there super early and even with all this I made it in just as the movie started. Not my favorite theater but it is the closest but if I have a choice I go to Commonwealth 20 honestly if an amc was closer than Midlothian....

Very clean, very comfortable seats and so glad they have the cushion in between the seats so i can actually sit next to my boyfriend like at home. Sound was very clear and loud but not overpowering. Beautiful screens too, great quality picture and relaxing atmosphere. Popcorn tasted pretty good. I have had better but still, it was good. I also got my refill immediately and was back in the movie within 5 minutes. Couple cons: spent $18 just on 1 large popcorn and 1 large drink. After spending $32 for matinee tickets consisting of a 6 year old and 2 adults. The other con is that they were severely understaffed at the concessions bar for a saturday which led to us being late to our movie because we waited in line for 30 minutes. We arrived early, thank you previews lol, and got to the movie literally right as the movie rules ad was rolling and didnt miss any of the movie. So way too long of a wait at concessions and good lord is going to the movies expensive but its no more than any other one so only one star lost for the 30 minute popcorn line wait. Definitely will return and...
