INCREDIBLE! Truly an incredible place to have your wedding or any event. My husband and I had a magical day and CLAY was the perfect place to host us and our families and friends.

It's a beautiful space in the heart of downtown Colorado Springs with great bones and the flexibility to do so many things with! More than that, the ownership and staff are great people, responsive, hard-working and they're constantly thinking of new ways to make the space even better for future events.

The rental for our wedding included a day-of-coordinator, access to the decor closet and they’ve continually made updates and enhancements to the space, even since we had signed our contract the year prior. Becky (owner) was always incredibly responsive (usually within 24 hours), honest and had open communication throughout. She was quick to answer any question we had and offer suggestions if needed, too. Their preferred vendor list is an absolutely ROCKSTAR team!! We found our photographer (Alivia Cuozzo), DJ and caterer through CLAY and we were so incredibly happy with all of them.

We used several things from the decor closet and brought in some of our own things as well, and they blended seamlessly. The day-of-coordinator that was assigned to us (Tomi) was so organized and thoughtful and you could tell how invested she was in our wedding. After our first meeting she took initiative to confirm timing and items with vendors, taking a huge weight off my husband and me. We felt so assured knowing she was in charge of our special day. She ran our rehearsal as well and coordinated the setup of our decor, flip of the space from ceremony to reception and kept things moving for our timeline as scheduled.

We couldn’t be happier with our wedding day! The whole team at Clay really knows how to put together your dreams!! We booked with Clay a year out. From the moment you meet them you can tell they’re excited about what they do! Becky was transparent and wants to help your day come to life in every way possible! She was available for questions and responded quickly. She rarely ever told us we couldn’t do something, she wanted to see every idea be met, but of course there’s certain logistics that sometimes don’t make it possible- there was nothing they said no to that impacted our day.

Once we got closer to our wedding day we met with Sarah, and oh my gosh is she amazing!! She took every detail we had and made it come to life!! I had little to no stress on the day of my wedding. When my husband and I came to the venue after photos and were able to take a look at how Sarah transformed Clay, it was absolutely insane- she hit every single detail. She was a rockstar and truly had our best interest at heart, she made sure our vision was the only one. She constantly checked in, kept us on track and came up with some spectacular solutions.

After the ceremony we took a “take 10” where it’s just us, Sarah came in with drinks and our caterer brought us some snacks. We would have never thought to take that short time together if it wasn’t for her suggestion, but it meant the world. Sarah truly went above and beyond for us-in true Colorado fashion, it rained on our day and Sarah made something special of it- she collected the rain water and gave it to us as a gift.

Clay and everyone on their staff will truly make your dreams come true, regardless of how big or small. My husband and I just had our wedding reception at CLAY Venues on 04/29/22 and it was SUCH a beautiful and seamless event, all thanks to Becky and her wonderful team!! Becky will work tirelessly to ensure that she makes all of your wedding dreams come true. A lot of wedding venues in the area had more of a farmhouse/boho/churchy/"live laugh love" style which we absolutely did NOT want AT ALL. CLAY stood out to us by being one of the only modern/chic/urban venues, in the area. It was a perfect blank canvas for us to reflect our minimalist, elegant style. Even though we didn't hire a full time wedding planner, it truly felt like we did by how involved and helpful Becky was throughout our entire wedding planning process. We highly recommend choosing the all-inclusive package with CLAY, you won't be disappointed! Since Becky already has strong connections with incredible vendors in Colorado Springs--First Class Libations, Kind Floral, Picnic Basket Catering, and others--we were able to make our event look and feel high-end for affordable prices.
