La Santa Bar — Restaurant in Colorado Springs

La Santa Bar in Colorado Springs has a great vibe and is definitely a good spot to hang out with friends. The atmosphere was fun, and we enjoyed being there overall.

That said, our experience with the bill left us a little disappointed. We asked to split the check three ways, and while the staff did split it, the amounts didn’t come out evenly. After comparing what each of us paid, we realized something wasn’t right. On top of that, they automatically added gratuity without mentioning it beforehand. I understand that for large parties, but since we were only a group of three, I didn’t expect it and would have appreciated a heads-up.

We also discovered we had been overcharged by about $40. Once we caught it and brought it to their attention, they did refund us, but it’s something to be aware of...
