The Human Bean — Restaurant in Colorado Springs

My first experience with a human being was in woodland Park. I went through the drive-thru there and I was so pleasantly surprised with not only their menu options but the customer service. Their lunch sandwiches at the one in woodland Park are delicious, they're large and definitely worth the price they're asking. However, they just recently opened a few locations up here in Colorado springs and I've been to two of them and I honestly have to say not only do they not serve the lunch sandwiches but I have found a whole experience to have left me wanting. The customer service is lacking, they seem to have trouble with pretty basic coffee orders... Their timing for getting your coffees to you while waiting in the drive-thru definitely needs improvement. I don't know if this is a management issue or they're not being trained properly, but I would definitely say that my experience from the one in woodland Park to the ones here in Colorado springs is quite different indeed. Not too thrilled so far with how the stores here...

We go to this location a lot, but the last 3 times there has been an issue with our order. Today is going to be the last time. 3 drinks were incorrect. 1 of them, we brought home for someone else and we had to bring it back because it had the wrong milk. This family member has allergies, it's a bigger deal than just taste, although that is a factor too. When my boyfriend brought it back, they were adamant it was made right and wouldnt give him a new one. Boyfriend gave up and just paid for a new one. He took a picture of the two drinks together at the store, again at home after they both had melted a bit, and even the color is different. It's a shame, because this location is closer and is the go to when my family buys coffee. And its really good, when its done right. We'll try the other one...

I was in a panic trying to get some coffee because our normal go-to coffee stand was closing early for the holiday. So I looked up ‘drive thru coffee near me’. And this pulled up and it was closest! So I get there, they’re very friendly and understood my babbling mouth when they asked what I would like. And clarified my order as well, before proceeding. Their drinks were smooth and flavorful! The espresso was very rich and smooth! Beautifully presented. And, most surprising to me, was not overly expensive! I feel they were priced for competitive quality! Because I could easily say it was as good or better than Starbucks. But 1/2 the cost. Thank you Human Bean for making my day better in a crunch and I look forward to my next coffee made...
