I apologise for the long review. TD;LR Trampolines were okay, I had 2 issues with the same employee. Be wary of 5 star reviews that praise a specific employee: they were most likely written because of the free slushie promotion.
The Good: The actual trampolines were okay. There were some games that did not work, but I enjoyed my time there. There was also some sort of liquid in one of the play areas, which I assume was juice.
The Bad: The main issue I have with this place is the employees. They had some type of promotion where they would give you a slushie in exchange for a 5 star review (so keep that in mind when looking at recent 5 star reviews, especially the ones from today or the ones that mention a specific employee). Employees would ask you to put their name in the review, and once they saw the review, they gave you a slushie. The employee I got my slushie, who I believe was named Kees, ignored me when I asked for my slushie. I am aware that there was a long line, which is understandable, but I had to show my "review" 3 times before my slushie was given. I was right in front of him, so it seemed like I was being ignored. The first time, he gave the smoothie I asked for to someone who had just arrived in line. When I asked for my slushie, he acted as if he didn't know what I was saying. Then he said that I "should've stayed for the slushie" as if I wasn't standing near the doorway for the previous 10 minutes.
Another issue was with ordering food. One of my friends waited for a while in line to order, which I understand since there were a lot of us ordering (school trip). However, after she ordered, they never gave her the order. She didn't order anything extravagant or large (just one slushie), yet they took so long to give it to her. There were only 2 employees at the concession stand after the rest of the employees left it to go somewhere (probably to mess around, considering the history of your employees doing so). At this time, most of the people in line had already left because our field trip was over. When I asked an employee (the same Kees guy) for a refund for my friend, he shook his head. Greatly pissed me off, especially since I already had a bad experience with this employee. My friend never got her money back even thought she was standing there for so long after many others had left. I mean, why did it take so long to get 1 slushie when there was no one else ordering?????
Since it was a school trip, I did not pay for the admission personally. However, considering the other reviewers, going here is probably not worth your money, time, and energy. There also seems to be a problem with employees not supervising the kids area. I saw many of my peers (we are middle school students, also I'm not saying it is their fault) going into the ages 6 and under area. That area wasn't supervised by anyone, despite the fact that there were little kids in that area. There were some other people (with small children) who were sharing the trampoline park with us. This is super irresponsible because it is very likely that these small children will be hurt by some big kid who wasn't supposed to be there in the first place.
I also noticed that some employees were mainly focused on those who were in line for the free slushies (in exchange for a review that could be deleted or changed) instead of paying customers (for overpriced food nonetheless). I didn't buy anything. It's interesting to see where their priorities lie. It seems like these people don't care about those who pay (so much) money to go here, according to other reviews.
I understood why it was a long wait for the slushie and to order, but it was ridiculous how some of the employees were acting. I noticed that this Kees guy wasn't acting so incompetent with others who were in line for the slushie. I am shocked by the difference in experiences I had, as I had a much better experience last year around this time. Whoever runs this place is so incompetent, that I wonder why this place isn't closed down...
Read moreI had my son’s birthday party here last night and was very disappointed with the experience. We’ve been to Big Air multiple times and have had a party there before. I knew it would be busy with our party being on a Saturday night. However, the wait for the zip line/climbing walls was outrageous. Several of the kids in our party stood in line for 35 minutes and never moved. After they decided to leave the line, I kept track of how long other kids waited. The group in front of my kids waited 80 minutes to get a harness. Their party was 90 minutes long, so they spent the whole time waiting in line to do the zip line once. After my group skipped waiting in line, they went to do the smaller zip line. After one turn, that attraction was shut down for over 30 minutes (I’m guessing so the employee could take a break). I spoke with several employees-first, a climbing line attendant who told me a lot of their equipment was broken and they were understaffed. Then, another employee who said she understood my concern but didn’t know what I expected anyone to do about it. Finally, a manager who said none of their equipment was broken and they weren’t understaffed, they just only have 11 cables so they can only connect a few kids at a time. When I asked why they didn’t have more so they could keep the line moving more efficiently, he said he didn’t see a need for it. I appreciate that he gave me 1 hour jump passes for all of the kids in my party as a consolation, but it’s not like I can bring all 15 kids back at another time. For this price point, it was absolutely unacceptable. I could have paid less money and had a private party at a trampoline park, as that was the only activity my kids were able to participate in. Sorry to say Big Air has lost a customer in us and all of the kids who...
Read moreFirst time here and not to impressed. The atmosphere is nice. Nice clean kid friendly place however some of the employees need training in customer service. Cerenity our cashier was not rude but not overly friendly. She was very soft spoken. The atmosphere is very loud so it was hard to hear her. She was overwhelmed taking phone calls and checking people in. Way too much work for one person. People in line were getting restless. Employees running concessions were all clueless. My son got a cup of dipping dots out of the freezer chest. We asked for a spoon, and the kid told us that the spoons were inside the cups with the dipping dots. I peel the lid off and there was no spoon to be seen. I showed him and I asked for a spoon. He went back into the kitchen, clueless and came back with a fork and said we don’t have spoons. Someone yelled out of the kitchen and said the spoons are in the cups with the dipping dots. I held the cup of dipping dots up to the kitchen window and showed them there was no spoon. I took the fork and went away. He could not eat them with a fork. I decided to dump the dipping dots out in my hand and sure enough underneath The dipping dots was a little piece of plastic that they called a spoon. Items at concessions were way over priced. 5.00 for a small icy. It was just an ok...
