Floated here one time on a date weekend with my wife. The staff was nice, but didn't mask up which is extremely concerning. That aside the experience was one of calming and almost meditation. My body felt pretty good afterwards and I was able to sleep better that night. So far so good.

My wife and I signed up for the membership and haven't had a chance to get back out there since. I've tried for 2 months to get ahold of someone to suspend the membership until we are able to use the floats we have available and to see if we want to continue with the membership. For 2 months I've received no confirmation emails, no replies, no phone calls, texts, or any type of communication whatsoever. I've called a number of times to be met with an answering machine and a text response feature they have that apparently goes no where. I've responded to this thing and still nothing back. I had to call the Powell location to get in contact with someone, just to send an email to management at this location, and now I have to wait another day or two to possibly stop the membership. It shouldn't be this hard to put something on hold.

EDIT: Didn't even realize the owner responded to my review. Here's the break down of the phone call that took place with the manager -

Immediately received a phone call back from the manager himself, after leaving a 2 star review here on G-maps.

Spoke with the manager and he's right. It was 1 month that I had been trying to get in touch with them.

The email that was sent to us at the time of sign up went straight to spam. I RARELY check my spam folder, there's mostly junk in there. This means also means the company should hire someone to help with their spam score to avoid this. I searched my email and found nothing which leads me to believe that in that 30 days time the message got deleted since it sat in spam for this long. Spam is auto deleted after 30 days in my mailbox.

The auto responder message that should have come when texting with their automated system, did not come. This was confirmed on the phone with the manager when I spoke with him, on BOTH occasions that I tried to reach this location. (someone seriously needs to look into this)

My phone number changed AFTER I tried reaching their establishment to get the service paused. So when I called AFTER getting my new number (also confirmed with the manager on the phone using my call history of course, which, mysteriously the owner didn't show my new number calling his establishment even though my call history shows the calls were placed. HMMMM......). There would be no reason for me to use the automated system with my new number, when there was no response from anyone on my old number.

Got everything sorted out eventually, but I'm keeping the review as is. It shouldn't take a negative review to get someone's attention when you're trying...

See update. My Mom referred me to try True Rest and it was one of the best experiences I’ve ever had. Everyone was pleasant, the place was clean and the float was so relaxing I fell asleep. They provide pretty much everything you could ever need for before and after the float... with the exception of clothes. So bring your own. It was so great I subscribed for a monthly float to see if it would help my injury. P.S. Groupon has a great deal for first timers!

Update: Fast forward a few months. While the float was relaxing it didn’t ultimately help my injury. No problem as results vary. However, when I wanted to end my membership as I no longer wanted to waste money on something I’m not using, and tired of the 2.5 hrs struggle with my hair after, I called and was told I had to cancel in store. I went into the store and canceled with the female that was there. She stated I was all good and I specifically asked her if she’s sure that is all? I don’t need to email anything. She states no. Mind you, I have accumulated 4 floats so far for my partner and I and did not use them. Next month comes along and I get a charge for $65 we didn’t budget for. Here starts the run around. I called soon as I saw the charge and no one at Easton would help me. I am told I need to send an email to cancel and once I’ve done that, I’ll get charged another month. (So now we’re up to 6 floats and to be charged for 2 more I have no intention of using.) I tried finding customer service or a corporate number but the only other number available was for the Powell location. Spoke to a manager there which started an email thread, where I explained the situation and that life events couldn’t allow expenses towards that. While he wasn’t rude, I was told there is no record of me going into the office to cancel and I won’t be getting a refund per their policy. (I wasn’t alone when I went to cancel so I’m sure I wasn’t off my rockers) I would have to send in the email and wait to be charged another month. I told him that won’t work. (Still haven’t used any of the floats.) He offered to freeze the account for 6 months. I told him to do what he needs to because I am unable to pay for the following month. 6 months up, they try charging my card again. I have since reported that card lost and sent all emails to junk, then trash. They are inconsiderate to anyone’s plight so be wary. It’s easy to join but you’ll be...

UPDATE: The team at True REST Float Spa reached out and offered an explanation for the mishap. They quickly rescheduled us for the next day and offered to comp our first time experience. Upon arrival, first timers are given a quick tour of the premises, then guided to watch a video explaining float therapy and the experience you will receive. You are taken to your private room with a shower, towel, earplugs, and the salted pod. At first I felt a little nervous about water getting into my ears, but the molding ear buds did a great job at keeping the water out. The pod was ultra silent so you are floating and are left with your own thoughts. Your time to meditate, think, let’s your thoughts run wild! Once you are done, you rinse off the salt water and go into the debriefing chambers. There you can journal, color, drink water, the tea of the day, and even take in flavored oxygen. The restrooms even have blow dryers. The experience was very relaxing, and the facility is nicely maintained!

ORIGINAL: I booked an appointment for 3 people at 10am. As new floaters we were asked to arrive 30 minutes earlier. All 3 of us arrived by 9:20 to make sure we have plenty time for everything to go smoothly. Upon arrival the door was locked. The sign read open 9:30am. We thought no big deal, we are the first floaters of the day, they could be running a few minutes behind. We waited, eventually called the office at 9:45am. No human answered, instead we received an automated text saying someone will be in touch shortly. We continued to patiently wait. I called again, and I got a messaged saying Our ticket had been marked urgent and someone will reach out. We called again several times, and went back to see if someone had opened the door of the spa and we missed them. At 10:45 we officially decided to leave. We were extremely excited to try this out. I wanted my aunt to try this hoping It would alleviate her sciatic pain a little, but in the end we sat in the car for an extra 80 minutes which exacerbated her pain. I’m still waiting for a response from the spa. If the person who is in charge of opening the doors met with an emergency or accident, I hope they are okay and all is well. As a business, they need to think about back up or at least efficiently communicate with the customers. Extremely poor service so far. Will update if I hear...
