While this seemed to be a nice location, my stay was filled with issues that left me extremely dissatisfied. The most alarming issue was the complete failure of the hotel’s security. During my stay, my car—along with eight others—was broken into in the parking lot, despite the presence of two security guards on duty at the time. This raises serious concerns about how such a large-scale incident could occur under their watch. It even made me question whether this could have been an inside job. The fact that two guards were on duty and yet nine cars were targeted suggests a severe lapse in oversight or, worse, complicity. When I reported the break-in, the staff reassured me that security was present but offered little concern. As a gesture of compensation, the hotel only comped one of our two nights, which didn’t come close to covering the cost of repairing two broken car windows. Beyond the financial burden, the experience left me feeling unsafe and violated. Adding to the disappointment, the cleanliness of the room was questionable. Upon check-in, the beds looked like someone had already laid on them, and there were ice tea bottles on the floor from the previous guests which was both unsettling and unhygienic. I stayed here expecting a secure and comfortable environment, but instead, I left with damaged property, additional expenses, and a sense of unease. The hotel needs to implement much stronger security measures, including better surveillance, more active monitoring, and accountability for their staff. Additionally, improvements in housekeeping standards are desperately needed. If you’re considering staying here, especially with a vehicle, I strongly urge you to look elsewhere or take extra precautions. Until these issues are addressed, I cannot recommend this property.

Good Business. We got there late once in the shower I noticed there was hair in there with me that wasnt mine. I notified the front desk and they changed my beds when asked . During Covid-19 I was leery of sleeping after the bathroom was not cleaned to my standards. Unpon further examination the floors were not vacuumed either . I was satisfied with their response. Housekeeping changed both beds after 11pm in order to give me peace of mind. I mentioned the problem at checkout and was compted my 1st night. I was extremely grateful although I didnt expect it. I have 4 stars because of the response to my concerns of the rooms cleanliness. The staff was pleasant, breakfast was nice alrbough it was grab and go bags. Again also to be expected in a pandemic. There was unlimited bottled water, coffee packages, fruit, packaged breakfast break muffins/bread. I am attaching puctures of the bathroom sink only because they should do better as a hotel. The shower pressure was not great which made it hard to wash my thick curly hair. Had the sink been deep enough for my head to fit under there to wash my hair I would not have minded the shower pressure because it wasn't the worst. Only bad reason I had trouble washing and rinsing hair. I also self determined this is why the sink drain was so gross because most people prob attempt to wash hair in it for the previously mentioned shower pressure. Again the staff was extremely pleasant and upon our checkout after explaining the nights situation the attendant came up with the solution to comp the 1st night in the room all on her own. That was very generous. The staff made all the difference between a 1 or 2 star and the 5 stars recieved.

Staff were awesome and friendly, even giving directions for me. As I was there for training for my new job, rooms were clean and bed could be less firm. Pool was nice and clean. But I still definitely DO NOT RECOMMEND this hotel!!!! 2nd night I came outside to my car to go to the location for training. And my window was shattered with glass clear to the passengers seat. I immediately checked my car seeing what was stolen. Ironically only stealing my police baton I keep for self defense for places like this. I went back inside and mentioned it to the clerk, who then told me it happens daily. Saying ā€œhomelessā€ will go from hotel to hotel breaking into cars and stealing food and money. But not a single penny of the change sitting in my car was missing. I then had to cancel the rest of my training, going to be a week till my window is fixed. And had to go to Walmart next door to buy winter clothes and accessories for me and my girlfriend to prepare for the 150 mile ride home in 40 degree weather with no window. And this is not a one time ordeal!!! This is a nightly occurrence, at least 2 other cars were broken into that night. Apparently there had been 10 broken into! I was there for 2 days and only seen 1 city cop 6 miles from the hotel! As well right up the road there was a shooting our first night. And the final cherry on top, coming back from Walmart to grab our bags. There was a sketchy couple in the lobby that were yelling and arguing with the clerk who was threatening to call the police as they were stealing coffee. Please read reviews of hotels before you go!

I wasn't going to make this review, however, the way that the phone rang over 30 times before being disconnected THREE TIMES. Derek finally answered the phone on Monday, July 15, 2019 @3:30 am I called and then when I asked was Jessie still employed there, he immediately became combative and yelling calling me SIR , WHO IS JESSIE? I told him I was Mrs. King, simply tried to explain to him who Jessie was during my visit and and that not only was I a Team Member I was a Diamond and he needed to lower his tone. I am a Wife, Mother and TEAM MEMBER and there wasn't any need for the hostility. I apologize if I woke him up but I had been busy due to a couple of deaths in my Family but while I too am the Night Auditor I was simply following up because I haven't received my points that Jessie had promised. During my Daughter's and I stay at this hotel Memorial Day Weekend around 5:15 am I received a call stating that I would receive a $65.00 credit because the hotel had a glitch. The young man knew my entire name and wanted me to verify my credit card with him.

I have been aware of this scam but I was so sleepy that I almost gave my credit card information until I literally jumped up and told that person "I know you are a scam. I am a Team Member and we don't call guest especially at 5:00 am". I went downstairs and the Night Auditor had a list of rooms that had been called and some unfortunately verified their credit card information and within a few minutes their cards were wiped for as much as possible. I know because I was standing there when a lady was at the Front Desk upset and I was added to the list that the Night Auditor had.

On the very next night I was called around 12:45 am that everyone was evacuating down to the First Floor because it was raining and the alarms were going off. I opened the door and there wasn't anyone in the hall. I took the phone off the hook and could not wait to get to the airport.

So I called the hotel and the phone just rang. I blocked my number and the phone still rang over 30 times but on my 10th and 11th attempt Derek answered and I was able to tell him that I was recording the calls and yet he still hung up on me. Needless to say that I will NEVER stay at that hotel, I am thankful that I work with a Team that would never be so rude, combative, or ignorant to not just a Team Member but a Human Being. The General Manager will get this review, the recordings and I will submit a complaint to HR. He tried to back pedal but the fact remained he didn't answer the question the first time I called because he went ballistic on me and hung up in my face. A simple No, he's not would you like the name of his replacement, General Manager or HOW MAY I ASSIST YOU? Not I have been with Hilton 21 years, I am busy, why are you calling this time of morning. I have work to do. Obviously, you don't have work to do....JUST AN AWFUL HUMAN BEING that does not need to work at ANY HOTEL....

I had to change my credit card information and phone number just because I stayed at this Hotel, however, every staff member I came in contact with treated me with RESPECT....DEREK IS WAY TOO...

BEWARE!!! This property is NOT safe. Do NOT be fooled by the camera tower in the parking lot. No on-site security. By far one of the worst travel experiences we've had. We arrived on Friday. Had an event to attend Friday evening and arrived back at the hotel around 10 pm. Woke up Saturday morning to find out our vehicle had been broken into and window shattered. Not only our vehicle but another on the opposite side of the parking lot. Spoke to front desk manager, Bennie. Apparently, this is a known problem and has happened several times before. Bennie, I would say, may be the best thing this property has going. Spent all day at the hotel on Saturday. Had to contact Columbus Police to file a report. They took the report over-the-phone because there was also a mass shooting on High Street the night before, and we were told it could be a day before anyone made it out. We were trying to find a rental car. All locations were sold out, even at the airport, due to large events around the city. Glass repair unavailable until Monday. Woosah! By this point, my husband was ready to check out. We felt violated and unsafe. As with the rental cars we found all hotels were also booked. Sunday, around 11:45PM, fire alarm sounds, and entire building was evacuated. What next??? Monday morning to find a bug crawling across our bed. We had already taken note that we found a wine bottle behind the chair and pubic hairs all over the bathroom shelf, which indicates the room had not been properly cleaned before our arrival. Super disgusted! We had to unpack and shake everything we had brought to ensure we weren't carrying bugs out in our luggage. While checking out on Monday, a couple fanatically enters the lobby requesting security as their vehicle had been stolen. Literally, every single night Friday-Monday, something happened. Vehicles were hit every day during our stay. Unacceptable. We are well traveled, and this by far was the absolute worst. Property management needs to keep their premises reasonably safe and protect guest from foreseeable criminal acts and crimes by third parties in the area. If a Property Managers cannot address a dangerous situation, they should warn the guest about it. We were not warned. I would NEVER...

🚫DO NOT STAY HERE🚫 We ALWAYS stay at Hilton & Hilton sister locations for all of our travel. This hotel made us truly shocked & not in a good way.

While arriving to the hotel location, you'll immediately notice that the area is NOT SAFE for your vehicle or yourselves, there's alot of shady people within the area/parking lot.

Upon entering, there was a girl (w/long braids, no work shirt or name tag) sitting at the desk eating her food. There was no greeting from her (only instant attitude), it was if we were bothering her. She asked "who is the reservation under"? After telling her, she said there were 2 reservations under our name. We politely told her there should only be one. I tried to show her the confirmation (4 night stay for 2 people in same room) but she instantly copt an attitude saying it's our mistake NOT Hamptons. She called someone but didn't get answer. So she just said here's your key.

1 Elevator did not work. The other one shakes while in motion. If you do decide to use the elevator, be prepared to always use the elevator with the hotel cleaning staff & all their supplies. Instead of them saying "go ahead", they get on w/you (all their cleaning stuff) and you & all of your personal belongings. We just ended up using the stairs for the whole stay. The non-smoking room smelled like it was musty. The beds are very hard. They could use new sheets, as the sheets were worn thin. The walls are VERY thin, so you can literally hear everything especially at night when people are just slamming their doors. The FREE breakfast is NOT worth it! They served eggs (which were always cold) & hash browns, waffles, toast, and cereal, etc. Absolutely no meats daily!! Out of the 5 days there I seen bacon (1 day) only being warmed up, not cooked. If you enjoy coffee ā˜•ļø be prepared they only have half & half creamer. We ran to the store to purchase actual creamer.

The best part of the stay was meeting Bernie (one of the managers). He's very kind, helpful, and makes you FINALLY feel welcomed. He's looks & acts professional and treated us like the Hilton Members/Customers we are. Sometimes all it takes is a smile & kindness to people....
