UPDATE - LONG POST: Not satisfied with delivery center, but they did finally make it right.
Delivery was our issue with Value City Furniture. We were scheduled to have our 4 piece sectional delivered the day after Christmas. I received the calls leading up to our delivery with our scheduled time 10am - 1 pm. On the day of delivery I received a call at 9:30am stating that one piece of the sectional was not available until Friday. I didn't cancel the delivery at that time but tried to call back (the messge said they were closed) to tell them I wanted it all delivered on Friday and not partial today. The driver (very nice) arrived and I explained I wanted all 4 pieces delivered on Friday so we would have a whole sectional. He called and explained the situation and they said they would deliver on Friday.
2nd delivery was scheduled for that same week. Received the call alert of the delivery window 8 am - 10 am. I noticed it only listed 3 pieces and called and spoke with several different people over the 2 days leading up to delivery and they all were assuring me that all 4 pieces would be delivered on Friday.
On Friday the delivery crew (again, very nice people), arrived at 8 am and they brought in only 3 pieces. I asked where the 4th piece was. Apparently it was not loaded on the truck the night before. I told the deliery crew and delivery center that I wanted it delivered today since I was told that all 4 pieces would be delivered.
After unwapping the 3 pieces, I noticed one piece was not facing the right direction so would not work with the other pieces. The delivery guys called again and I again spoke with the delivery center person and the manager asking if they had the correct piece in stock or if I would have to wait. I told them if they couldn't deliver the correct piece and missing/forgotten piece they could take it all back and refund our money.
They delivered the piece that was left off the initial delivery and the incorrect piece were delivered before noon that same day.
I feel like I was getting the run around by the delivery center people and they were not happy they were going to have to make a second trip. Had I not told them that if the 2 pieces in question were not delivered that same day, that I wanted a refund and they could take it all back.

We purchased multiple items from Value City (two sofas - one power reclining, an ottoman, and a swivel chair). We received one sofa and the swivel chair a few weeks ago and planned to have the rest delivered in January. The delivery experience was a logistical headache. There were numerous times that Value City either cancelled or changed our order date without contacting us ahead of time or notifying us, and we didn't know until the day came and went and the furniture hadn't arrived. It was finally delivered after the 4th attempt, and I noticed shortly after delivery that the chair was defective (cushion would not lay flat, interior of the chair was ripped and stitching/foam was exposed, sides were uneven, etc). I contacted my sales consultant who stated he would have a manager submit a repair request for me and said I could exchange it for a new item if I paid a 15% restock fee. I asked multiple times over text what the deadline was to make the exchange, and the consultant ignored these messages and never instructed me to contact anyone myself, then later informed me it was too late as more than 7 days had elapsed. I believe this was done intentionally to force me outside of the exchange window. He also informed me that I needed to request a repair myself. When I reminded him that he said a manager had done it he said "if I said they did it, then they did it"...yet when I called customer service later, there was no repair request on file and they called the store directly and the store had no idea what they were talking about, and no one has ever contacted me or shown up to repair the chair. Long story short, I still have a defective chair, was lied to by the salesperson, and no one cared to do anything about it. We cancelled our remaining $5k order for January because if they couldn't help me on a $500 item, I certainly wasn't going to give them 10x that amount of money and hope it all worked out. I will say the service was good at the time of purchase up until the item arrived, but once they have your money you can't expect any further...

Iām a step outside of your pack and waiting for delivery day was not that long but when it came, I only got my couch wasnāt really sure why my entertainment center wasnāt delivered with this order so I called the store and I talk to a manager named Ashley.. apparently the entertainment center that I ordered was not in stock and was going to be delivered after the 1st of the new year. I recently moved into a new condo and was buying furniture to get ready for Christmas for my family coming home and specifically only ordered furniture that was in stock. There was a confusion.. now letās get the Ashley! When I called, I was a little bit upset especially after she told me that it wasnāt going to be in until after the first of the year however, her professionalism and her ability I need and want to fix the problem was stunning. Iām not sure if value city understands what kind of manager they have. Working at their store but because of her and her want to fix the problem, I will be a customer for a very long time I came into the store and she personally walked with me while we looked at other entertainment centers and verified that they were in stock. She also made sure that it could be delivered within the next couple of days so that I can get my house ready for Christmas. I am absolutely blown away by her professionalism. So many times I dealt with managers that just donāt care she not only cares about the company but she cares And she worked everything out for me.
