Empire Barbershop — Attraction in Concord

I have been coming to Empire Barbershop for almost two years because the service here is amazing! The barbers are professionals at their craft that provide excellent service and hospitality.

In my experience, Aaron has provided me with topnotch haircuts. Even when I decide to change things up a little. When I could not get a cut with Aaron due to high demand or failure to book on my part, walk-in appts with the other barbers were great too! Yes, walk-in wait time can be long depending on the day, but the staff do their best to accommodate you by offering seating, music, and even sports entertainment on screen. They are very friendly and their service is worth the wait. If you want to avoid waiting I highly recommend booking at least 3 weeks ahead of time.

Empire also does a great job at serving people of all ages. From children to seniors, they do well at helping all feel comfortable. I have seen them serve a diverse group of clients and almost every once has left with a smile.

Not only are they great barbers, but good people too. Outside of work hours, Empire Barbershop has volunteered with other local organizations to provide free haircuts to the less fortunate.

The only place we will go for both my husband and my 1 year old! My husband has had 3 different barbers cut his hair here and they all did a PERFECT job!

They will be going to Kevin regularly... he was extremely patient (& is a natural with kids- always trying to make him laugh and keep him happy) with my 1 year old both times he got it cut and he took his time to make sure it was perfect!! I honestly have no clue how he made my baby's hair look so good with how much my little man moved around. Very reasonable price for top notch kids hair cuts, so if your little one is extra difficult, make sure to tip him well!!! My husband's hair turns out perfectly every time, it is worth the extra money (over a super cuts) ANY day. I couldn't be any happier with this place & the job Kevin did!!!

Just a heads up, they do take walk ins but it's a long wait.... they have this great app that tells you where you're at in line and they call your cell phone when they're ready for you. It is TOTALLY worth the wait! You can always schedule an appointment as well, but our schedule is a little hectic so we usually just go in to get "in line" and do some shopping & lunch til...

DO NOT USE THEIR GIFT CARD SYSTEM, NOT ORGANIZED - I have been coming here since 2015, spending what started as $40 to an increased $60 for the works haircut. No problem with the price but something is clearly not the same with the management as it is now disorganized with their system, the other day for my birthday I was give a gift card and confirmed booking 3pm after signing a waiver and money leaving the purchasers credit card. Upon arriving I am rudely informed that another customer who they knew on a first name basis was a head of me even though I had traveled all the way from San Francisco to attend this appointment on time since this is where I live now to be an early customer treated like this is not good I went to los Barberos instead and they have a way better system and friendlier atmosphere less clicked up...
