Global Food Baltimore — Attraction in Woodlawn

I am a Woodlawn resident for 20+ years and I have witnessed food markets in the Meadows Shopping Center come and go. I am happy to finally have another food market move in to the Woodlawn area and I am rooting for Global Food to do well. On 4-2-2023, I visited the market to pick up a few things. The experience was nice and the store was as clean as a shiny new nickel. Upon entering the food market the large vegetable section caught my eye and it was well stocked with varies fruits and veggies. (We really needed a fresh food market in the Woodlawn food desert area). Okay, most of the green leafy veggies were wilted and looked outdated. (Not a good sign) As I mosey through this section towards the back of the store, the smell of fish emanated in the air. I proceeded to the seafood section to see it fully stocked with various fish that I have never seen or heard of in my lifetime with some exceptions; such as; salmon, crockers, rockfish and red snapper. (Fully stocked and iced down to the maximum). However, the pungent odor was a distraction in this area and was undeniably sharp. I believe those fish have seen better days. With this said, I am rooting for Global Food in Woodlawn. You are new to the Woodlawn area and I want to see you prosper in this community, but I hope that you step up your game with providing fresher fruits and vegetables and most of all fresh fish/seafood. Hello! We had a Very Very Very nice experience today at Global Foods Security Location! The store was very clean and stocked up to perfection 👌 The workers in the produce section were on top of their jobs!!! Everything in the whole entire store was up to par! Very nicely done Global Food! You can best believe that my husband and I will be shopping there Very soon!!! Keep up the mighty fine work for your customers like me and others for more return visits. Oh...and the prices were outstanding! I spent $40.00...and got everything that I set out to get from a grocery store. Thank you so much for all of your hard work in pleasing customers like us! In general I love this store best prices to exist and everything is fresh most of times I love the watermelon that are cut up today I had seen something that deserves to be spoken open I had seen a young man behind the register helping this old lady out I asked him for his name and he was called Frelin if I’m right but the old lady needed help she could barely walk and he made to sure to bag for her and gave of good vibes, but today I have just seen best customer service in this store and I only feel like this deserves to be mentioned because I have a mother that seemed like her and hope cashiers treat her how that young man treated that...
