Lake Logan Marina — Attraction in Logan

Dare I say this is the best place to rent a boat, kayak, paddle board, or pedal boat in all of Ohio, nay America, nay, The WORLD! First of all the place is stunning, there is a large hand painted sign just as you walk in that looks better than that can of soup Andy Warhol painted. As you walk under that gorgeous sign you get a great view of lake logan, a view so magnificent you may go blind because your eyes can't process something so magical. I personally had to get cataract surgery after my first visit. I would rather look at the view from the marina than watch a sunset at the beach, or the view from the eiffell tower at night. Heck I would rather see the view from the marina than ever see Ryan Reynolds shirtless ever again. Speaking of nice views let me tell you about the employees. First of all every single employee is so kind, happy, and knowledgeable about the boats. But more important than that there are some studs that work here. A group of strong young men can often be seen doing push-ups on their downtime so they can always be beach ready. Let me tell ya they are definitely beach ready. There are a few girls that work in the office and of course they too are so kind, knowledgeable, and very dedicated. I even hear that two girls comes in on their days off to paint tables, boats, and even that gorgeous sign I mentioned earlier. Legend has it they are happy spirits of former employees who stay around to decorate the place.

Okay now time to talk about my boat ride. First they gave me super stylish life jacket to wear, then they get me on the boat, gave me a quick but very insightful tour on how to use it and they send me on my way. This little bit of direction was so good there was no chance of me ending up like the titanic. Now of course I went with some of my Boyz, Gilligan, the skipper too, the billionaire and his wife, the movie star, the professor and Marian. Now they tell me they've had bad luck with boats in the past but they were filled with confidence after the excellent instruction. Now we only rented the boat for an hour but we had so much fun it felt like 3. When we came back with the boat there was a young man directing us on when to stop and where to go. He was pretty skinny, definitely didn't have the same beach body as the other guys, I'm guessing he skips some of the push ups. But don't get me wrong he was still a super nice and helpful young man. I belive his name was Ivan? No Iman? No wait his name was Ian. Anyways we get off the boat and all the employees tell us to have a nice day and sent us off with a smile. I will definitely be going back the next time I'm allowed out of the house.

I can’t say enough good things about Lake Logan Marina! I’ve done a pontoon rental 3 times so far this year and I plan to come back again before they close for the winter.

Accessibility: I’m a fat person and I feel very comfortable and sturdy on the boat. The seats on the boat are able to hold me and I feel comfortable on both the captains bench and the swivel chairs on the boats. There is only one small step up to the check in counter, a very short walk from the parking lot to check in, and then another short walk on the docs for the boat. People who have trouble walking may need someone there to hold their hand or just spot them while walking from the doc down to the boat and then help stabilizing once you step onto the boat. The staff is also very friendly and approachable so if you do need help, they will offer a hand and they’re so professional about it.

The views are gorgeous! The lake is lively with other rentals, privately owned boats, swimmers and people fishing. It’s so fun to see everyone out there enjoying their time and making memories, I’ve never had a single problem sharing the lake with the locals, everyone is really friendly around there.

The very first time I went I ended up being like 35 minutes late to my reservation, they called me to check in and see if we stilled planned to show up, and when I got there, they helped me out and allowed me to use that time later via gift certificate. That alone secured me as a repeat customer.

Our experience with the marina could not have been any more enjoyable! We arrived per our reservation, which we had to change at the last minute, but they accommodated us which was gracious. We had, Our 19-year-old granddaughter, our 105# German Shepherd and, My wife, who has Parkinson’s disease and is very unstable on her feet. We explain this to The crew at the marina and they could not be more accommodating and helping us move items from our car to the pontoon boat. They helped us carry coolers fishing gear and personal items to the boat and gave a very thorough explanation of its operation to me. We enjoyed the cruise that we took around the lake without any interruption or incidents, and when we came back to the dock, the guys were so accommodating, and I can only praise them for their patience with us and they could not have been any more helpful with the assistance that they provided. They were so helpful and understanding that I would recommend them and their company to help with future Clients utilizing the facility. I can only give them an A++++ Rating and I would highly recommend people Traveling in the area to utilize their facility!!! All of the crew at the marina were exceptionally professional, and understanding of our situation and couldn’t have been better!!! And I thank them ALL for what they did for us!
