My wife and I have been going to pace since it opened. The facility is nice and the courts are in great shape. However, there is much to be desired. They are a new business so there are definitely going to be some bumps in the road, but once customer service becomes poor, then it’s time to move on. There are other places in Katy now such as Pickle Point so there are alternatives to this place. My wife is new, so if you are, then I would suggest you go to a different location or only go when there are designated times for beginner open play. There used to be beginner open play every day so we were able to attend frequently so that my wife felt comfortable playing. They have since taken that away and now use a magnet system that is really not even used. We have taken lessons here as well with Matt, and that was a good experience. Rate was $90 an hour for two of us, which wasn’t that bad. They have since added another pro, Dusty, who originally gave us our intro and beginner clinic lessons, which we also enjoyed. If you sign up for their drills or intermediate clinics, just know that they will cancel if they feel they are not making enough money with enough people attending. They also cancel with little notice and don’t offer you to attend other events happening that night like open play. They just withdraw you and leave a credit on the account- not even refunded back to your card. Weeks ago, I had inquired about a membership and was told they would get back to me, and they never did. This evening one of the employees was also very rude and yelled at me to not touch other peoples paddles because he was trying to play a joke on his friends who those paddles belong to. It’s an interesting thing since we are all moving paddles around so that there are 4 to play on a court. Yelling at someone for something so trivial is not it. If you are an advanced player, this place might be for you. If you expect good service, look elsewhere.

I recently visited Pace Pickleball Club, and I must say it exceeded all my expectations. The facility itself is top-notch, featuring well-maintained courts, excellent lighting, and a comfortable viewing area for spectators. Whether you're a seasoned player or just getting started with pickleball, this place has everything you need for a great experience. One aspect that truly stood out during my visit was the exceptional customer service provided by Jason. From the moment I walked in, he greeted me with a warm smile and was eager to help with any questions I had. His knowledge of the game and passion for helping players improve was evident throughout my visit. He took the time to explain the facility's amenities, offered helpful playing tips, and ensured that everyone felt welcomed and included. It's refreshing to see such a dedicated and friendly staff member who goes above and beyond to create a positive environment for all visitors. Thanks to Jason and the overall quality of the facility, I’ll definitely be returning and recommending Pace Pickleball Club to all my friends who love pickleball!

Pace is an outstanding indoor pickleball facility with super nice courts, spacious lounging areas and some of the best employees and coaches you will ever find! Just want to give a shout out to an awesome employee at Pace, Jason Nguyen! This guy is always smiling and very welcoming to the members and non members at Pace! He is always willing to lend a helping hand to anyone in need, especially if one has had an injury! Way to go Jason!! Pace also has some amazing coaches and instructors including Jed who helps lead and organize DUPR events, leagues, tournaments as well as Garrett who coaches young athletes during Junior Summer Camps! Some other outstanding guys I have to mention include Esteban, Phillip and Andy who always make sure open plays and reserved courts are run smoothly! We appreciate all of you guys! We LOVE PACE!

This rating is based off their customer service, not the facility since I have not been there. From my experience, they are not interested in helping you unless they can make a sale off you.

I was interested in learning to play pickleball, and asked about beginner classes. David was helpful/responsive when I emailed about it and we got me signed up for the beginner clinic ($35). Unfortunately, I had to cancel as other things came up that took priority. I cancelled a couple of days before my class date, but did not get my refund. I emailed David, he said it should refund but to reach out again if I don’t see it. I wait a couple of days, and don’t see the refund. I reached out to David, but now he doesn’t reply at all. I waited a couple of more days, and called them. The employees who answered the phone couldn’t help and said the refund can only be done by a manager or the owners. They took down my info and said they would pass it along to the managers/owner.  It’s been a couple of days since then, and I have not heard back.

$35 may not be much to some people, however it’s $35 gone from my pocket for a service I did not receive. I had hoped to try the class again on different day when I cancelled, but since there’s been zero communication from Pace managers/owners and I have not gotten my refund, I am not going to sink another $35 ($70 total)...
