I want to give 5 stars, I really do, because for some people all it takes is one employee to ruin a good time for everyone. Thankfully we were able to overlook said employee's blatant rudeness. So much that even the woman behind me in line tapped me on the shoulder and whispered "my goodness, that lady is so rude!"
First, let's talk about how comfortable, clean, and up to date the theaters are. I was impressed! You have oversized recliners (think lazyboy) with cup holders and armrests offering PLENTY of room. Clean atmosphere, quality sound/audio/visual setup. You have digital countdown clocks at every theater telling you exactly when the movie is going to start.
Now let's talk about the short, heavy, black woman working the concession counter on Sunday (1/6/2019) @ 1:00pm.. This was the worst service I've ever experienced in my LIFE. I was ordering food/drinks for 5 of us, and no matter how many times I said "please" and "thank you", I was met with a dirty look and attitude. But that's ok, maybe she's just miserable. But then it got worse when I asked for a drink holder, "please".. She literally tosses a drink holder at me, which slid off the table and onto the floor. After picking up the drink holder from the floor, I proceeded to put my drinks in the holder when she tells me "you need to do that somewhere else".. Problem is, I have 4 drinks, 3 popcorns, nachos, cheese, candy, and only 2 hands. It took another employee to see what was going on, and offered me a larger box for everything to go in. I wonder why the short, heavy woman did not offer me the box? She wanted to see me struggle? That's when the woman behind me stepped in and said "it's ok, we have plenty of time, get yourself squared away so you don't drop anything". That kind woman was met with the look of death from the rude employee as she stormed off to tend to a popcorn machine. That's when the woman says to me- "My goodness, that woman is so rude".. I responded- "I'm glad I'm not the only one who thinks so"..
I could go on, but you get the idea. She was literally going out of her way to be rude. It's like she was looking for any and every opportunity to be as rude as possible. If I were a manager and I seen my employee behave in that manner, she would have been fired on the spot.
Overall, taking the kids to see Ralph Breaks The Internet turned out to be a wonderful idea and we had a great time here. I refuse to let myself absorb others negative energy. Those miserable souls are always trying to infect the happy people with their disease.
After the movie, we went out to an empty section of the parking lot and took some drone photos of the cinemas, which you can see attached with this review. Thanks...
Read more5 Stars to two workers! 3 stars to Corporate – A Huge Thank You to Nick Jarvis and Samantha at Regal!
I want to start by saying my family and I are loyal Regal guests—we visit this theatre at least four times a month, and it’s been one of our favorite places to unwind, especially for my 6-year-old son who absolutely loves the experience every time.
Recently, I planned a private screening for my son’s 6th birthday. It was supposed to be a special day shared with friends and family, something we’d all been looking forward to. Unfortunately, corporate ended up declining the private screening at the last minute—citing concerns about losing money on the seats that wouldn’t be filled. The delay and final decision nearly ruined the celebration we had planned for weeks. I was ready to write off this theatre entirely.
But then came two absolute heroes: Nick Jarvis and Samantha.
Nick went above and beyond to turn things around. He helped me purchase enough individual tickets to cover our party so we could still enjoy the film together in the same showing. He even provided complimentary popcorn for the kids in our group as a way to make up for the inconvenience. He helped us stash and distribute party favors discreetly and treated our entire group—20 parents and a bunch of excited children—with kindness, patience, and real care.
Samantha also followed up with a phone call to personally help smooth over the situation. Her genuine concern and effort to help de-escalate the frustration we felt from corporate’s last-minute decision meant so much to me. She truly listened and reassured me that our business—and our happiness—mattered.
These two individuals are the reason we stayed, enjoyed the birthday, and left smiling. They saved the face of this theatre for me and all the parents who attended. Regal corporate may have made a disappointing decision, but Nick and Samantha restored our faith in the people who actually make the moviegoing experience memorable.
From the bottom of my heart—thank you. My son had a birthday he’ll never forget, and it’s because of your dedication...
Read moreI was at the movies for the first time in months and did not have a good experience. Everything started off good everyone wearing masks and everyone social distancing. But when I finally got to my seats the actual auditorium my movie was in was so hot. It literally felt like the heat was pumping out. Throughout the entire movie I have sweat dropping down my face. The most uncomfortable experience. It was in auditorium 7 on Saturday August 29 2020 the movie was New Mutants at 920pm Showtime. I waited for months to watch this movie and did not want to miss any of it so I endured the heat and was waiting for the usher to make their rounds through the theatre to voice my complaint but there was none that made any rounds. At the end of the hot movie I went to address the pair with management and they had an attitude about the entire issue and did not want to do anything because I waited till the movie finished to voice my complaint and told me I should have told them at the beginning of the movie. But what kind of logic is that. They are supposed to have ushers check the theatre for any issues and they want me to leave during a movie that I waited for months to see and miss parts of it just to tell them to do their job? Finally after a10 minute hassle with management they bridge me off work a free pass to my next movie when I really just wanted a refund but I was frustrated too the pass and left. Way couldn't that just apologize up front and offer the pass from the get go. Why the condescending attitude and only offer the pass as a last resort. They really need to step up customer service and make sure the air conditioning is working in all of their auditoriums. Worst experience ever. Guess I should...
