They are running a factory-style salon where confirmed appointments aren't honored and persons who are waiting will be pushed behind people who walk-in without appointments. They have no system of verifying appointments. A family of 3 walked on for 10:00 appointments and had to wait because the owner is so greedy for money that she took people who arrived before their stated opening of 10 am. All anyone has to say is they have an appointment when they walk in. The family with legitimate appointments had to wait. One or two of the three cancelled. I asked why people who came in from the rear were being seated before me (as I waited) and the owner who was also at the front of the store looked in the rear without any of her workers saying a word, and stated that two different people had appointments. I know this because I asked how she knew the persons who just walked in (separately) had appointments. She THEN went back and asked. She had the nerve to tell me to ask the customer. I told her that was not my job and is very unprofessional to ask me to do so. If you want a relaxed salon experience DO NOT patronize this store. They have no respect for the community except to make money off of it. They are also cash only, or you pay a dollar for use of a debit or credit. The fees associated with a debit or credit are minimal and are legitimate business expenses so it is unprofessional to use that type of system. Apparently, it's their way of keeping the IRS from knowing how much cash they bring in....
Read moreI have visited this nail shop multiple times, but this by far has been one of my worst experiences. On Saturday, March 2nd, I visited the shop and got a full set + a pedicure. Jenny always does a great job on my pedicures, so I have no complaints. I usually go to the owner, Pasty for my full set acrylics; however, she was incredibly booked so I opted for another manicurist. She completed the job and I had no complaints at the time. Fast forward a couple days later, my nails start lifting. Now, typically this happens after two weeks, but it hadn't even been a week yet. I went into the shop after speaking with Patsy over the phone. Once I got there, she starts saying that I used chemicals on my hands, which I didn’t. After I explicitly stated that I didn’t use any chemicals, she proceeds to make another excuse. This time blaming the lifting of my nails on my body. She said and I quote, “your nails are healthy, so your nails grow faster.” That’s not true. I’ve gotten my nails several times and this has never been the case (certainly not after only four days). At the end of this convo, she agrees to repaint my nails free of charge. After SHE removed the nails polish from my nails, she then said she would have to charge me. I will not be returning to this shop seeing as though they value money over the quality of service delivered to their customers. I will be inserting...
