I went to spirit Halloween 10/11/23 to buy costumes I asked for a changing room they had no changing room to try it on before buying So I spoke to the cashier associate on the return policy before buying she told me yes I could get a cash refund as displayed on the sign returns until the 23rd and exchange only on the 26th so I bought two to try on at home they didn’t fit me or my family so the very next day I went to return my items the manager on hand at the time would only refund the cheapest item and store credit for the most expensive costume I asked why and was told it’s store policy you can’t return something for money back after the assesirys we’re open I told her that the cashier associate did not inform me on this she said we’ll she apologizes she will let her know next time but I can have store credit I felt scammed and conned for my money and it didn’t settle with me I asked for her manager I want my money back it wasn’t my fault their employees wasn’t informed or didn’t inform me before I bought it I was assured a refund and now I was arguing with the manager on a refund she did give me my refund but ten dollars in store credit which I didn’t want I wanted my money I couldn’t refuse but I was scammed and bullied into accepting I still want my ten dollars it isn’t right to hide policy’s or not inform the public before purchasing and falsely advertise returns allowed until the 23rd of oct. nothing was Damaged or missing just a...
Read moreMy son and I were next in line to check out with the cashier. I was looking at little nick knack stuff they have while you’re waiting in line, so I wasn’t paying attention. When a register opened up, a group of teenage girls who were behind us skirted around us and skipped us. So, when we got up to the cashier, I said to the girls, “next time when you’re in line behind someone and they don’t realize they can go ahead, you let them know instead of skipping them in the line.” The girls lied and said, “we did let you know.” Then the cashier backed them up, and lied, too, claiming she tried to say something. There is nothing wrong with my hearing. If someone taps my shoulder, I’ll feel that, too. So they were obviously lying, but then here’s the kicker. That cashier, who was clearly operating the register I walked up to, went and stood behind the cashier who was ringing the girls up. I said, “you’re not going to ring me up?” She said, “she’ll ring you up when she’s done with them.” So, I put my purchase down and walked out. I’ll never go in that store again. They have literal satanic paraphernalia in there, too. There’s something wrong with the people working there, and...
Read more6 times so far have been there. And tones of people working and all the times there not one. Not one single person says hello to us or let along acknowledges us. Pretty sad I even walked around with $200 worth of stuff in my hands just to see if anyone would say anything, or even offer a basket. And nope. If there was a better place and closer place for Halloween stuff to shop we would go there. But this is it. So I have spent $800 there so far. And donated a bunch . The only one good thing this store has is the cashier who checks us out. She is absolutely so nice. Friendly and talkative. We enjoy seeing her and talking wirh her each time. Everyone else just seems like you are an annoyance to them and a waste of there time. Not making you feel like you want to be there at all. If I didn't need to try on the clothes for the little one. And she loves seeing everything. I would stick so...
