My husband and I purchased jewelry from Watches Plus in the Orange Park Mall. We purchased two gold necklaces and two gold bracelets. We noticed when we were purchasing them that the pieces that connects the jewelry seemed fragile like it would eventually pop. We mentioned it to the owners and they reassured us that those pieces were durable. Since we paid so much money for these pieces, we still wasn’t comfortable with the weak feeling of the connectors. The owners then gave us a lifetime warranty and told us they are durable and if anything happens to the jewelry no matter what it is, we will replace them with the exception of them being lost. That’s the only thing that made us feel secure about it. However, we haven’t had the jewelry a year yet and both bracelets are defected. On one bracelet, a piece of the connector broke off and we can’t connect it. On the other bracelet, to my surprise, it ripped and the emblem ripped off as well. The entire bracelet wasn’t durable at all. This should not have happened as I only wear the jewelry on special occasions so it shouldn’t be any reason why it tore so fast. We took the the pieces back to the store to show the owner. The owner (make) said he would have to charge us to get them fixed. However, this was not stated by the lady who sold us the jewelry. The male owner was not present when the lady was talking to us. He refused to own up to the warranty that we were given. As a matter of fact, he was very unprofessional cutting us off while we were explaining. We never interrupted him but he was rude. The owner should have been more customer focused as we did choose to patronize his establishment and spent good money for these pieces. So why not just fix the jewelry like you stated you would in the warranty. We left unhappy and will not do business with...
Read moreThe gentleman who assisted me today was very knowledgeable and helpful in finding the perfect watch fo me. I had a rough idea of what the prices were for the style of watch I wanted as I had done a lot of research on the internet prior to visiting this store. The number of models and styles makes it hard to remember the pricing for all of the various models, but I made a purchase on the spot anyways as I found a watch I really liked a lot. Fearing buyers remorse, I did an internet search when I got home and found the exact model I purchased at this store from other large online and brick & mortar retailers and the price I paid here was slightly better. Over all, I feel I paid a very fair price for a great time piece. To me, it is always better to buy something like this when you can hold the watch in your hand and not have to just rely upon reviewers on the internet. This store has a great selection of high quality watches with a knowledgeable staff. I am glad I stopped by to get this man’s help in picking out the perfect watch at the...
Read moreI allowed Watches Plus to replace the battery in my Boyfriend Coach watch and to repair the crown gasket in a second watch. The second watch is rose gold. When I picked up my watches, the Coach watch battery was replaced as specified however to my horror, the rose gold watch crown gasket was replaced by a cheap silver crown gasket. It was noticeable upon glance, when I asked the salesman what happened, he told me they were unable to find a rose gold crown gasket so they placed the silver crown gasket in the watch. When I asked for a discount, he refused. I was angry and displeased with their service. If they were unable to find the correct part, why didn't anyone notify me and tell me. I would have never agreed to place a silver crown gasket in my beautiful rose gold watch. I am left with a rose gold watch with a silver crown gasket, they charged me 20.00 to repair the rose gold watch, I feel robbed of my money and I will not be returning to...
