My friend and I had a great experience at The Yard Milkshake Bar in National Harbor. We took the ferry from DC just to check out this place and ride the Ferris wheel. There was a line when we arrived, but it moved so quickly, I hadn’t even decided what to order by the time it was our turn. All of the staff were extremely polite and helpful, answering my questions about the different specialty shakes. They all looked so amazing, it was hard to decide! We were wishing the kids were with us, because they would have gone crazy for the awesome shakes like the mermaid, Cookie Monster, the Unicorn, Milk & Cookies. Not only the ideas, but the execution of these shakes is unbelievably beautiful and delicious! I decided on the S’mores and with the flavors of my childhood, I may as well have been sitting by a fire. Unacceptable Service from Store Manager July 5, 3 PM

On July 5th around 3 PM, I visited this location with my wife and kids, and what should’ve been a simple, enjoyable family outing turned into a frustrating and disappointing experience all because of the manager on duty, Chanel. From the moment we arrived, she looked completely uninterested and irritated. While preparing milkshakes, she was tossing ingredients around carelessly, moving like she didn’t want to be there. When she handed me our order, it was done with such a negative attitude no greeting, no smile, not even eye contact. I’ve never encountered someone in a leadership role with such poor customer service skills. It completely ruined the mood for my family. It made the restaurant look disorganized and unpleasant. This is not the kind of experience I expect from any business, let alone one run by someone called a manager. Chanel’s behavior does not reflect what good leadership or customer service should look like. This needs to be addressed by upper management...
