A "Prison Break" to Remember! Immersive Fun with an Amazing Game Master!

My wife and I had an absolutely incredible time at Trapped in the Upstate Escape Rooms-Spartanburg, tackling the "Prison Break" room. From the moment we walked in, we were impressed by how neat and clean the facility was. The set design for "Prison Break" was truly immersive, pulling us right into the story – we even had to use a computer to solve some of the puzzles, which was a unique and exciting touch!

What truly made our experience stellar was our Game Master, Taylor. She was awesome! Taylor's assistance was perfectly timed and incredibly helpful. At one point, she heard me correctly deduce a code but noticed I was inputting it into the lock incorrectly. Her clear guidance on how to properly use the lock saved us precious time and kept the momentum going without ever making us feel stuck.

The entire experience was fun, exciting, and left us wanting more. We highly recommend Trapped in the Upstate-Spartanburg, especially if you're looking for a challenging and well-run escape room adventure. Big thanks to Taylor for making our "Prison Break"...

I recently brought my high school students to Trapped in the Upstate- Spartanburg for a field trip, and it was truly one of the best experiences! From the very beginning, the staff made planning effortless — they were incredibly organized, accommodating, and communicative, which made coordinating a large student group smooth and stress-free. The escape rooms were engaging, well-designed, and perfectly suited for team-building and problem-solving. I loved watching my students collaborate, think critically, and apply leadership and communication skills in such a fun, hands-on environment. It was a fantastic blend of learning and excitement! I became aware of Trapped in the Upstate when visiting the adjacent trampoline park with my son. Neither of us had tried an escape room before, so it was very exciting as we weren’t sure of what to expect. We planned to visit the escape room at a later date, but now I wish we would’ve visited sooner. I recommend Tapped in the Upstate to everyone! I can’t imagine escape rooms get much better than that place. My son and I took on the “Death Row” challenge together and had a blast figuring out the puzzles; of which there are no shortage. I thought it was a tad pricey at first, but after finishing the game I felt like I definitely got my money’s worth of entertainment.
