Trinity Parish Church — Attraction in Saint Augustine

Christmas Eve Service in mid afternoon was moving and special. I've wanted to see the inside of this oldest & first Catholic Church in America. Living close to St. Augustine is an extra treat.

The church history, it's exquisite stained glass windows thru out especially when the sun shines thru them. Spectacular! The architecture, it's design and details are superb! Right on St. George St. also off main walk thru with shops, restaurants, bars with music. There is an annual Pirates Wk-end festival. Right by the Fort. Not far from the Parking Garage Plaza but if limited walking, I'd get dropped off on St. George St in front of the church then you can walk thru area for shops, food etc.

St. Augustine is a beautiful historical city any time but Christmas is spectacular so festive. Nights of Lights starting Thanksgiving thru into early Jan. Train rides thru out the city, singing Carol's, Hot Cider and cookies. Lights, decorations, events thru out the city and various churches espec Christmas Eve & synagogue Hanukkah services.

A must see when visiting the mid & north FL. 40 min from Jacksonville, 1 hr from Orlando/Apopka area. Great Day/Night out. They have romantic or family carriage rides and plenty of accommodations: hotels,...

Visited this church while I was staying in town. I wanted to check out this Episcopalian church and see how their service went. Beautiful church with so much character with the stained glass windows. Service promptly started at 11:15. Beautiful music and worship service. I loved the traditional elements and their emphasis on sacraments. We just moved from Daytona to St Augustine and are life long Lutherans, but the elca Lutheran church in the area seemed elderly and not welcoming at all so we decided to try this episcopal Parrish. Boy we are sure glad we did. Very welcoming, very beautiful service much like the Lutheran service we know and love, a lot of ministry opportunities to get involved with and mostly great preaching. We would recommend this church if you want to find Jesus and get involved with his teachings...
