A-MAZ-ING! We hosted our wedding at The White Room in June and from start to finish we were blown away. If we could give this 6 stars we would! Firstly, Sarah and Alan were absolutely amazing throughout the entire planning process and the day of. We could not have been in better hands... thank you!!! Simply put, this venue is stunning. We held our ceremony in the Villa Blanca and our reception at the Rooftop and Loft. Guests arrived through the lovely courtyard and were welcomed to Prosecco Pops (highly recommend!). Cocktail Hour took place on the rooftop (a real highlight in itself) with his/hers cocktails and hors d-oeuvres and, despite a quick downpour which ruined our live musician's equipment, Sarah, Alan and team were incredible. They were able to delay dinner slightly to ensure we were able to enjoy the musician and rooftop for the full hour. All day and night they could not do enough to ensure that we and our guests had everything we needed. We decided to set up corn hole up in one corner and hire a live cigar roller out on the rooftop which went down very well with our guests. We also had a coffee and lemonade station inside with a photo booth which was awesome. Dinner took place in the loft. We opted for Action Stations (Shrimp & Grits, Beef Carving Station, Veg and Squash Pasta), which ended up being the right decision. Our guests could not stop talking about how wonderful the food was! This was followed by ice cream and donut holes + late night snacks. We extended the reception an hour to 11:30 and that ended up being the right decision given the rain delay earlier in the night. We knew that the wedding would be amazing but it exceeded even our own high expectations and a number of guests genuinely commented that we have ruined weddings for them now as nothing will ever measure up. I wish we could do it all again!!!! ** PS - we also held our Rehearsal Dinner at OC Whites and welcome drinks at The Chatsworth Pub - both very close to the venue (same owners as White Room) and both equally impressive.

If I could give The White Room more than 5 stars, we would! We got married last month (Nov. 2021) and truly could not have chosen a more perfect wedding venue! Our reception was in the Loft/Rooftop of The White Room, overlooking the beautiful St. Augustine downtown area and marina. If you're bringing 100 guests (or more) to St. Augustine for your wedding, you want an authentic St. Augustine venue, and I can't think of one better than The White Room. I'll start with the most logical part of the review - the price. The White Room is so reasonably priced for a truly top-tier wedding venue, plus the price includes your food, beverage, linens & furniture. With so much planning for a wedding, it was reassuring that we didn't have to coordinate additional caterers, and that everything was provided in-house by The White Room. Moving on to the more important pieces: food and decor. The food & cocktails were outstanding - not only did we think so as the married couple, but every one of our Guests RAVED about the food; we had hors d'oeuvres, entrees, specialty cocktails, mini-desserts and late night snacks, all of which were out of this world. And of course I can't review The White Room without mentioning the beautiful backdrop for photos and dancing. Last but certainly not least is the staff of The White Room; from answering questions via email for 2 years pre-wedding, to working with us days before to ensure all of our decor was set up perfectly, the whole process was seamless. Our event manager Sarah was also our night-of coordinator, which helped everything run that much more smoothly. Sarah worked with us on food tastings, the menu decisions, the decor set-up, and managed the reception evening so beautifully, we didn't have to worry about a single thing. We cannot thank The White Room enough for such a beautiful wedding, and I wish everyday that I could just re-live the day exactly as it was - there is not one thing I'd change! HIGHLY recommend this venue for your St. Augustine wedding!

When my now wife and I decided to get married in St Augustine, we quickly began reviewing options for venues, and there were several to choose from. The White Room was not one of the very first we reached out to, but we did contact them early in the process and from the very beginning we were very impressed. Their communication was fast, they responded to our interest in their venue in an hour or so, and quickly responded to any questions my fiancé or I submitted with a very short turn around. We scheduled a visit and were very happy with the venue itself and the staff we interacted with. Once we had made our decision to select the White Room for our wedding, their quality of service never decreased. Our coordinator, Rebeccah, was very communicative, always responding to our questions in a timely manner and helping us work through decisions about different aspects of our ceremony and reception. But the real moment they excelled was on the day of the ceremony. The staff was wonderful, very gracious and helpful, always checking to make sure that everything was going well and if we needed anything. And I would say they even went above and beyond, Rebeccah going so far as to help bustle my wife's train which proved a bit challenging at times. The food was excellent, we selected the Spanish menu, and were very happy with it, everything was good, and they even made sure my wife and I had a plate made since it isn't unusual for the bride and groom to get caught up in everything going on and not get much of the food. Many of our guests complimented the beauty of the venue and also passed on wonderful comments about the staff. I cannot say enough nice things about our experience, they helped make our big day even better, and would very quickly recommend the White Room to anyone thinking of getting married in St Augustine. I can’t say enough wonderful things about the White Room! I’ll start with the entire waitstaff. The staff was phenomenal! My husband and I both manage restaurants, and most guests were in the hospitality industry so when it comes to service, we look at the small details. This staff crushed it!!! Every single staff member was beyond friendly! Guests were coming up to us and complimenting us on how detailed orientated the staff was (even though we had nothing to do with them). Small things like removing the salt and pepper shakers after dinner service was done and cleaning up small crumbs were all appreciated and certainly noticed. The bartenders were quick to serve and were very friendly! Everyone worked very hard that evening and it showed. Thank you to every single staff member that made our evening flawless! Rebeccah was our event manager and she was on point with everything. From all the back and forth emails to the rehearsal to the day of, she was on top of it. She was very responsive during the planning process and did the best she could to accommodate all of our needs. We planned for a ceremony in the Villa Blanca and the reception to be in the loft/rooftop. The day of the wedding it was torrential downpouring so the decision was made to move the reception into the Grand Ballroom. Although it was not what we originally wanted, I believe it was the best move for our group. All of this happened because of Rebeccah’s recommendation. Rebeccah did an amazing job making sure the rehearsal, ceremony, my husband and I, and other big picture items were taken care of. Thank you, Rebeccah for all of your hard work! Then it came to Allan. Allan was a godsend! He was our day of coordinator and let me tell you, he and Rebeccah are the perfect dynamic duo! All of the small things he did for us and our parents put this experience over the top. From the guidance he provided, to all the drinks and even bringing us out tea, his level of service was exceptional and everyone seemed to take note. He was so helpful and friendly throughout the reception. Any questions, any needs, anything we could possibly desire, he was right there for all of it. He made sure we stayed on track with the timeline without being bothersome or overbearing. Every time I needed something or had a question he was one step ahead of me. Being I’m also an event planner, it’s rather hard to stay ahead of me but Allan pulled it off flawlessly. Thank you, Allan! Overall I would absolutely recommend The White Room to any couple. Besides the stunning venues, exceptional customer service, the food was out of this world. It takes a lot for me and my family to be impressed by food (we’re definitely snobs) and we absolutely were. We chose to do stations and they did not disappoint. The Farmers Market Station and Seafood Station along with passed apps made for the perfect amount of food during cocktail hour. Everyone seemed to enjoy everything! For dinner, we continued the station theme and it was perfect for our group. Everyone’s food was served hot and the Prime Rib was cooked perfectly. There was not a single thing that I would change about the food. We received sooooo many compliments about the food. People would not stop talking about the cookie station! That's one thing that almost everyone said to us after the wedding was how amazing the cookies were. Guests loved them so much they were putting cookies in their pockets on the way out the door! If you are looking for a beautiful venue with overly friendly staff and amazing food this is the place you want to host your wedding. I cannot thank this team enough for all of their hard work. You can tell everyone here loves what they do and it shows in the setup and the quality of the food. Thank you White Room for making my wedding...

We selected the White Room for a Villa Blanca ceremony and Rooftop/Lounge reception. We also added on the Luxe enhancement for day-of coordination. I cannot say enough great things about this venue, especially Rebeccah Grimm. They are experts in organizing and running a beautiful wedding. From the second we met Rebeccah, we had amazing support and communication. Rebeccah never hesitated to answer my questions and made details seamless. We had some guests with food allergies and she ensured they were taken care of. They also handled a vendor that did not coordinate a requested product and resolved the issue. We are beyond grateful for the White Room for making our day exceptional.

Below are some of our thoughts on our favorite aspects of choosing the White Room:

-Ceremony Add-on: This gave us access to the bridal suites. We had room attendants that were so kind and wonderful. They made sure we had water and champagne/beer to enjoy as we relaxed for the big moments. The rooms were gorgeous and great spots for our photographer to capture photos. The Villa Blanca is beautiful without any additional decor - we only added a cross (rented through the White Room) and some welcome items (sign and photos). Rebeccah led our rehearsal and she controlled our large group with ease. We all knew exactly when and where we needed to be.

-Food & Beverage: We chose the raw bar for our cocktail hour in addition to hors d’oeurves. The presentation was beautiful and a hit with our guests. Our guests were also greeted with popsicles in Prosecco as they entered cocktail hour. The bartenders ensured the kids at the event had different glasses to keep everything safe. We selected the Caesar salad, mashed potato bar, prime rib, and paella action station. Everyone loved the martini mashed potatoes and the presentation, again, was phenomenal. We also liked that the salad was pre-plated so our guests had food immediately upon entering dinner service. We picked an open beer/wine bar with the top shelf old fashion and Floridita. The Floridita was everyone’s favorite cocktail. We appreciated that there were no hidden costs or fees - we knew exactly what we were paying for and it was well worth the money.

Order of events: The White Room is an expert in this area. Rebeccah had us do our father/daughter dance and mother/son dance after dinner service which got everyone back on the dance floor. The venue attendants were also excellent at directing people. We were so pleased with the ease of the day. Rebeccah also led the coordination and communication with third party vendors - she knows just about everyone in the wedding industry in the area which is a perk!

Again, we are so grateful and happy with our choice. We highly recommend you choose...

Where to start about the White Room? I have seen many venues as a guest and bridesmaid and knew this was the one I wanted to see. I initially thought I want want my wedding in the ballroom but ended up using the Villa Blanca for my ceremony and the Loft and Rooftop for my reception. First, the Villa Blanca is just gorgeous for a ceremony. Second, the Loft is so beautiful and historic and had exactly the look I wanted (I wanted a very romantic wedding with flowers and rustic elements). Obviously, the roof top is also gorgeous and super cool and unique. I had friends, who have been to 20+ weddings, that they’ve never been to a roof top wedding and how great of an experience it was. Trust me, the look of the entire venue does not disappoint. Also, I got married during Night of Lights so the roof top is a must have!

Then, there’s the food, bar, and service. The food was amazing at our tasting the day of. We had an open bar and signature drinks which were all perfect and classy. The staff was absolutely amazing and always made sure my husband and I came first. We had drinks and a tray of appetizers while my dress was bustled while we waited for introductions and our first dance. They always made sure we got to try the food and had drinks in our hands. They also gave us two meals to take with us and some of our wedding cake (which I appreciate so much because I have never wanted to eat less than my wedding day unfortunately!)

Then there’s the coordinating. I booked at White Room in September 2019 and my wedding was December 2020. Six months in COVID happened. As any bride can attest, this was possibly the most stressful and uncertain thing thats happened to me in quite some time. I spoke with my coordinated fairly regularly who quite possibly saved my mental health! They kept me updated on their capacity and COVID procedures and routinely assured me everything would be fine (and that I wasn’t crazy!) Rebeccah was so kind every time I spoke with her or had a question. I also had my day of handled by White Room and do not regret it. They set everything up beautifully and my timeline was exactly what I wanted.

To sum it up, I couldn’t imagine a better venue. If you are looking at The White Room, book them! I have been to so many amazing weddings and dreamed of my wedding for such a long time and still feel like I had the best, most special day ever. Even during COVID they kept things running smoothly and for one night I didn’t feel like everything was different. I’m very impressed by the quality of their venue, their staff, food, bar, and service. I am eternally lucky and thankful that I chose them...
