This place wasn’t all bad, I want to get that out of the way. My pedicure was lovely. The technician I had was so sweet and patient with me when I got distracted and forgot to switch legs. She was wonderful. Unfortunately my acrylic fill wasn’t so great. I had a Cindy as my technician. She really seemed to be in a hurry to finish up, she wasn’t focusing on any, and she did a poor job as a result. Now, I do have shorter nails, so a stiletto is a little more difficult. However, I asked her to file them down just a little, she did not, and they came out oval. I asked her if she could please make them a little more pointy. She said it wasn’t possible because I have short nails…even though I came in with short pointy nails. My nails are all different lengths now, there’s a large gap between the gel and my cuticle, they’re all different thicknesses, the coating is uneven and patchy, and they’re all now crooked facing every different direction. I understand a little bit of Mandarin, and she was whispering unkind things about me to the technician next to her. That was really unprofessional and mean. When I was charged she added a $5 fee for “reshaping them.” I said I didn’t get them reshaped. She started to argue with me that I wanted them pointer, so it’s a $5 fee. Mind you they still aren’t the shape I had wanted, they look pretty bad. I felt bad I started to get angry, but I told her that she didn’t give me the shape I had asked for and I came in with the shape I had and shouldn’t have to pay when she did the wrong shape and I asked her kindly to fix it. She just wasn’t a kind person to be with. Very shallow, quiet, unprofessional, and inconsistent. I didn’t leave a tip this time. She didn’t deserve it. I won’t be returning here. I’m...
Read moreDo NOT get wax services at this location. This is my regular nail salon and I always get my upper lip, chin, neck and brows waxed. Before proceeding I requested the employee to be extremely gentle because wax can tend to leave scars and my skin is sensitive. She then took off layers off my skin and was even laughing as I was tearing up in pain. The damage was so bad it took two months to heal. I had to get a refund and they gave me one but that was it. I was still left with a scar and skin damage that was the worst Ive ever had. It seemed like me asking her to please take her time meant nothing to her. My skin is still healing till this day. Please save yourself the money and damage and do not get any wax services from this location. This is not the first time they’ve left me witn scarring.
Again this is my regular salon and I come here monthly and they even remember me because how often I come I live down the road. They always do a decent job with my nails but this wax horror story was incredibly wrong. I should’ve been offered more than a refund for the damage they did. As I mentioned my scar is still healing and im not sure what the employees name is who did my wax but everyone should have the same level of training and she waxed over the same spots two-three times hence why the damage and dark burnt spot is there. I was in pain for a week and couldn’t talk or eat without my face hurting from the burn. This was late December 2024 and it’s march 2025 currently and my scar is still healing...
Read moreI came in to get my nails designed by Tori two days ago and was happy with it when I left. However, the design started chipping and coming off within a day. I called and explained the issue and they told me to come in so they could redo them for free. I went in expectant and left disappointed. I sit down, they look it over, and tell me they can fix it. Then, the person who I assume is the manager, whispered in their ear. The gentlemen helping then looks back and tells me that if I wanted it fixed that day, I would have to pay again, but if I were to set an appointment for the next day, they could redo the whole set for no extra charge. Slightly frustrated, I book another appointment for 11 am the next day. I came in today, go over the issue with Tori and - to my surprise, THE SAME THING HAPPENS AGAIN. The manager comes over and the situation repeats; suddenly I can no longer get my nails redone without paying. The only thing they can do is erase the design if I “don’t like it”. The designs were chipping and bubbling up and she said she could only take off the design for free. In the end, I basically paid $80 for a coat of black and white polish and the situation left unresolved. Tori was great and helpful, but the manager is horrid, dishonest, and shows a complete lack of consideration for customers. At best, he is a person lacking integrity and, at worst, attempts to squeeze the most money out of people even when the salon...
