I’m a local so I come here quite often, but today took the cake with the most horrendous service I’ve ever had in my life. We went in today (August 2nd) at around 3:30pm. When our server came by we specifically said we wanted to start off with salad and drinks because we weren’t ready at all but we were starving. He proceeded to bring our drinks and breadsticks… don’t know what happened there because usually they bring breadsticks and salad together but we had just asked for salad…. Moving on. We order because we’re ready at this point and he asks again and I have to say again we want salad. Cool. Salad comes. Our plates and silverware are dirty…. Cool. We ask for a replacement. The next set of silverware is dirty again so we just split from a roll up we already had on the table…. Food comes. Server doesn’t clear the table. At this point there’s three bread plates, three drinks, two salad plates, the salad bowl and a soup, plus two main courses and an extra plate. That’s fine. We took it upon ourselves to try to condense the dirty dishes but Instead end up dropping dishes on the table and one of us got drenched in sauce. Our server was by the host stand for most of this on his phone. He comes back to bring drinks I think? And we have to tell him to take the plates because we need space and we made a mess. This man not only did not assist whatsoever (bringing napkins or even looking concerned) it felt like he intentionally ran away. At this point there’s still dirty dishes at the end of our table, now six glasses and sauce all over the floor. I walk by our server next to the booth and ask the host if we can get somebody to mop the bottom of our table before we start eating. Host then proceeds to SWEEP the sauce off the floor. We had put some napkins to try to clean it up because it was uncomfortable. So now here we are. Stepping in sauce smothered across the floor as we eat our entree kinda stumped.

I would say we go out frequently and we also come to this location all the time. Have never had a problem with service until today. Our server was inattentive, avoidant and really made the experience feel like we would’ve had a better time cooking at home. All I have to say is if you don’t want to be there don’t be there. He was not rushing, there were literally not even two tables occupied in his section and he had time to stand by the host Stand and scroll on his phone. Come on man. Do better or do us all a favor...

Does a bowl of Salad worth a stand up with a customer?

We were confronted today by a total unhinged waitress, due to the fact she was clearly upset that our party didn’t order more entries to "qualify" for more salad and clearly to be treated with respect.

We were a party of 6 adults and 8 children, most of them under the age of 7. Adults shared and kids split the meals as well. BIG MISTAKE! When we tried to ask for more salad, she lectured by husband, telling him if she "wasn't clear enough" for us to understand, we DIDNT have the right to ask for more. If we wanted extra, we should pay for it. When my husband asked me what just have happened, I told him that she was a rude person, obviously having a bad day. At that moment, the waitress, approached the table and told me to repeat again what I just said about her, which indeed, I did it, adding that was not the way to treat a client and I was not willing to keep with her belligerent antics, for a bowl of salad.

I asked the manager to change servers and he sent us another person.

What the waitress didn't know, is that we are not simple tourists she could intimidate with no further consequences. We are locals, from Windermere, spending the day at a resort and decided to stop by for a quick bite for the kids.

Since when is a requirement to order a certain number of entrees, drinks, or desserts to be treated with respect? We were appalled of the classless, unhinged, belligerent individual you hired; disrespectful to the point of not caring to ask if we where not understanding what was she was saying or confronting me in my face in the middle of a busy hour, with no regard there were children on the table, instead of de-escalating the situation.

You have to train your personal to treat customers with respect, regardless of the fact they are tourists or locals, cause in this case, the liability you had for a waitress, mistreated the...

Worst manager in the history of all restaurants. Never in my life have a felt so mistreated. I stepped out to pick up medicine for my son as he was feeling ill. I figured I'd rush to the CVS near by while our group of 10 waited on the food. When I got back it was shortly after close and I knocked and was not being let in. I kept knocking and was not let in, it wasn't until after a group was leaving that I let myself in which the manager then rushed to stop me treating me like a panhandle of some sort. Irritated I told him I was part of a group and my son was inside ill and I stepped out for his medicine. He treated me like trash, raised his voice, extremely embarrassing. I ignored him and rushed to my son and he comes back there to look for me and kept arguing. At this point I tell him to stop and leave it alone as all he needed to do is apologize for the mistake from the get go versus argue with me, raise his voice at me, belittle me, etc. The servers themselves told us as a group that this manager is horrible to work with. Shameful that a service establishment would treat their customers in this manner. I got the hell out of there and waited in the van with my son and so did half the group. The other half tried to ask for the food to go since they still had not received their meal. The manager was then heard complaining that the server asked for a discount for us to try to make things better. The own server had to TRY to make this better as the whole restaurant witnessed this treatment towards me. And yet was pissed and told him to only offer 20 dollars. Never ever going back to this...

Worst experience I’ve ever had at an Olive Garden, sat at the bar because they were on a wait, not a problem, we usually prefer bars anyway. We found the only 2 spots at the empty bar that were clean and sat for our meal. Our bartender didn’t introduce herself and just asked what we wanted to drink after loudly telling a coworker through the service window that her shift was almost over and that “Alex needs to stop prancing around the restaurant and get behind the bar” because “I want to f-ing go home” She asked us what we wanted to eat and after telling her we wanted the soup salad and breadsticks she rolled her eyes, presumably because they are lower priced and she would have to walk back and forth for refills. As pictured none of the dirty dishes at the bar top or the tables around the bar were bussed off or cleaned during the entire 45 minute visit. The manager even walked behind the bar for a comp and did nothing about the cleanliness of the bar and surrounding tables, nor did he ask us about our experience. I usually try to resolve any issues I have with the manager working on duty but seeing him walk back to the host stand without seeming to care about what was happening in that part of his restaurant led to this negative review.

Decided to have dinner here after a very long day with my family at Animal Kingdom. The restaurant was fairly empty. Instead of being sat in the quiet dining room, my family of five were sat at the very end, by the bar. Our three children ages 8,10, 12 shouldn’t be sat in a darkened bar area. It felt very prejudicial to even have dinner at this establishment. It was quite apparent that we were viewed as a minority because of our brown skin. Even with ample free tables for 5, because of our colour we were sat in the darkened bar, at the very end. Honestly, my family has had amazing Italian at home in Toronto, Vaughan. But what can I say, my kids enjoy pasta! Visitors just beware. If you are looking for a fair dining experience and is a person of colour, don’t even bother. As you can see from the picture, the section we sat at was the very end of a darkened bar. Lastly, the hostess is absolutely terrible! She needs to learn to treat visitors to their restaurant a lot more better rather than judge a family based on their skin colour! Terrible terrible of her and the management considering they are of Hispanic background. We are not Hispanic. Sorry for the hispanics that do live in Orlando and even want to eat here.

Olive Garden has always been one of our family’s favorite go-to spots when we’re in the mood for seafood, pasta, salad, and soup. It had been a couple of years since our last visit, and this recent experience reminded us why we love it so much. We arrived a little before 12 p.m. on a Sunday and found plenty of parking—which is always a plus in my book. There was no wait time; we were seated immediately, and I requested a table by the window, which they gladly accommodated. Our server was fantastic—super friendly and attentive. I wish I remembered her name! She spoke directly to my children, treated them respectfully as individuals, and took their orders with care. I appreciated that she gave honest opinions about some of the adult menu items too, which helped guide our choices. We started with the classic soup, salad, and breadsticks (as always, a hit), followed by our entrées, and we ended on a sweet note with the Italian doughnuts and raspberry sauce—absolutely delicious! If you’re in town or just passing through, I highly recommend visiting before the lunch rush. We went around 11:30 a.m. on a Sunday, and the timing was perfect.
