Drove up and was taken by surprise. From the street level Founders Park looked small - about the size of a couple of single family housing lots. But it is extensive covering the equivalent of several city blocks. There's a small parking lot, then hilly woods and a thicket that helps muffle the sound of busy streets. There were at least a half-dozen people playing disc golf. A paved pathway rolls across it to an open area with an unobstructed view downtown Dallas. For Cliffies this vuew may not be anything new, but it's mighty impressive to an immigrant from Oak Lawn and Old East Dallas.

OCF Park is a great place to get in a quick round of disc golf (takes about 45 minutes max). There are 12 holes to play across varying terrain, including some elevation! It’s good for beginners and intermediate players who don’t play often. The tee boxes have good cement pads and most of them have good signage with info about distance and pin placement. Don’t come after it rains because it can get muddy. And be careful around hole 6 because there tends to be a lot of broken glass and used needles strewn about the fairway.

This park has such great potential that's lost from so many minor problems. The parking lot is small and risky. You can see broken glass where break ins of cars have occurred. Homeless folks were clustered up at the nice seating area vantage point when I visited. Other reviewers have noted the disc golf course needs better signage. That all said, it's a pretty park at first glance, and it has some of the better views of downtown. Enjoy the park trails for a nice walk, but don't expect to be here long.

Beautiful well lit park in oak cliff. Very nice walking trail with beautiful scenery especially at night with downtown showcasing it's lights on the sky scrapers. Really fun disc golf course. Perfect for beginners or sputter only round for intermediate to pro players. Great introductory course to someone who just started or someone who is getting into the game but want to feel like it's a competition no matter what level of player you are. Again the park has plenty of lights which make a safe and fun night...
