This store has lovely flowers in their shop, but they have terrible delivery services.
Over a two day period, I received many confused calls from two employees trying to find my house. I tried to help and they behaved as if annoyed with me. One time the breathless driver(who previously left her number for me to call her back) hung up on me. She said she was off work and I should just pickup the flowers at the store. ????
A different lady called back after that and said they could deliver the next day. I assured her the hours I would be here but also encouraged her to leave them on my covered porch if I wasn’t home (as other flower delivery services like Delphinium Designs have done here many times).
They sounded frustrated and out of breath on the phone each time they called as if too busy to deal with deliveries.
Finally, When they called to say their driver was here the next day and ask if my gate was open (I said it was, and had previously provided this information to them on the phone) I went down to meet them. No truck or person anywhere on my street.
I called back to see if they were lost, and they seemed again irritated with me. They retook my address.
I never received the flowers, still don’t even know who ordered them to tell them to get their money back!!
Update/edit: The flowers finally got here an hour after the last call.
As I said in this review, they have beautiful flowers, terrible delivery. I will be thanking my sister for these, and recommending she use another service to send flowers to her next giftee.
Have changed this review from one star to two stars because they did get the work done eventually (although stressfully and at times without politeness to the gift-recipient).
Thought I’d respond to the response below - excuses for poor service are your company’s Usual response - readers, please also see the response they made to the first google review here. Their motto is ‘it’s the customer’s fault’. - back to...
Read moreJust had my wedding this past weekend and the flowers were BEAUTIFUL! In my humble opinion, I think it is best to let the professionals just do their job. I mean, I'm not a florist, that is why I am paying someone to do it. I told Dirt what my wedding colors were and they did the rest. I didn't require them to recreate anything I saw on Pintrest or bridal magazine. Although I did share 'inspiration' photos with them for my terrarium centerpieces (complete with geodes and crystals!) When I saw the beautiful arrangements they do in their shop, I just said "I trust you that you will make it beautiful with what is in season." AND THEY DID! What I ended up getting was BEYOND anything I could have ever found online or even imagined. All of my family wanted to steal my bouquet away from me. I got compliments ALL NIGHT about the bridal party flowers, the boutonnieres, the table settings. We had assigned folks to take them home if they wanted them and all of them were gone in a second! One of them even 'disappeared' to someone we don't know. And I get it! They were amazing! Sonya called me personally the day before to confirm everything and let me know that they found some great stuff for the wedding. I couldn't believe they were my flowers when they arrived. It was the most beautiful and magical evening of my life and my flowers were definitely a high point. THANK YOU for making my wedding...
Read moreIf I could give zero stars I would. I hired them for my wedding and recently had to fire them. I'm not sure if they have taken on too much, are just generally incredibly disorganized, or don't take the time to train their staff (or all of the above), but I would NOT use them for an event. I hired them 3+ months ago, paid a $5k deposit, they asked to push a meeting back one full month because a staff left/was fired, didn't understand what the meeting was for when we were scheduling it (the owner was supposed to do a mock up, her staff was clueless) and then when my mom and I showed up to our meeting they said we had the date wrong (they were wrong). When I found written record of when we confirmed - which was on a Thursday, the staffer's response was "I don't work on Thursdays". Come on! They were not able to make any impromptu meeting happen then, said all the wrong things, the owners did not come out to speak with us or ever call to reach out and apologize. We asked for our money back, one of the girls said "we'll get it to you", I had to clarify we wanted our FIVE THOUSAND DOLLARS refunded right then and there - not some undetermined time. She said "oh, right", and was then able to process it. Maybe they're in a popular part of town, but hard pass on them for any events. Save your money - too many florists in town to be dealing with unprofessional...
