Urban House — Local services in Dallas

Living at Urban House apartments has been the worst experience of my life!!! I hate bugs so much and these apartments are infested!!! My neighbor has told me they have spider and ants. I went to the office to tell them of my issue and Silvano (the man that works in the office) told me he’s also had an issue of gnats in his apartment. They tried to blame the issue on things in our apartment, and said they found a wet shirt in our laundry room. I came back home and it was gone no proof of it. They flies are only located on our front windows and no where else in the apartment. So they came to do an inspection to see if we are living up to their protocols. After passing the inspection they saw the flies were still at our windows. They have now refused to do anything about the matter and have expressed that it’s still our fault even though we “passed”. It is stated that they are supposed to do something if we have a pest issue, but Urban house apartments will do anything to avoid the issue. The windows leak and that’s is where the flies are coming from. They have showed us how they treat their guests, the office guy had attitude with me. They are very unprofessional, so if you do not like bugs and want to live somewhere where they take care of their guests. DO NOT LIVE HERE!!!!!!! THEY ALSO...

I recently sold my home in Chicago and started a new adventure here in the state of Texas. I initially lived in Houston, but due to work and returning back to the office, I needed to be closer to my duty station, which put me in the city of Dallas. The process was very clear, efficient, and quick and to my surprise, I’ve never experienced anything like this prior to me being a homeowner. I do understand that looking and applying for apartments can be very stressful. Any questions that I had about the process or the apartment that I now reside in was responded to in a very short turnaround time. I love the complex and I love that it’s Secured. The view that we have is that of the pool area and at night it just looks so beautiful; my son cannot wait until the summertime where he can actually Utilize it. I like the fact that they also have the concierge service to pick up the trash because no one likes to really take out the trash! Lol! I am really close to the downtown area as well as the mini parks that surrounds us. My son school is literally a 3 to 5 minute drive and he’s only been there for about two weeks and he loves it. UH prides itself in keeping up with the property in both appearance and maintenance. Landscape crews are here once a week to keep the property clean and presentable. Maintenance crew are on point when called on and doing rounds such as checking apartments for water leaks and air filter changes. Pet friendly and kid friendly environment. My wife and I started out as newly weds moving in 3 years ago. Since then we were blessed with two beautiful baby boys, in which I can say we feel confident raising them in a community that prides itself also in safety. UH is good in bringing the community together through events such as, Food Truck Tuesdays, Breakfast at the Brew and their summer pool party. Silvano helps finding the right apartment a breeze and is very knowledgeable regarding any inquires a tenant may have. Alesha is helpful with any concerns we may have.
