I had the worst experience delivering my baby here my originally OBGYN I was told that doctor Evans was in when I went into labor but I ended up getting another doctor which is doctor cobb she was extremely rough I kept telling her that she was hurting me and she kept being extra rough with me I never knew she was a doctor I thought she was a nurse everytime I seen her faced I cried I never in my life had a doctor be so rough with my vagina during child birth it was to the point I grabbed her hand and begged her to stop being rough with me the only person who actually took the time out and was very gentle and nice to me was nurse Megan she was amazing I wished she was a OBGYN. After I had my baby I went upstairs the nurse Mimi , tech Mariah , nurse blessing they were amazing after my terrible experience delivering they made my stay very pleasant here and they were very nice and gentle with my baby. The room service ladies Ms Paula and Veronica and the cleaning room lady Ms Lisa ( she is amazing she kept my room cleaned to the t while I was there ) they went above and beyond to make sure I enjoyed my food the hospital here you aren’t allowed to pick and choose what you want to eat like other hospitals you have either choice one or two which sucks and the food the made doesn’t taste good I would give it a 2 star rating but the customer service from the room service ladies were excellent, during my epidural they had someone training on my back they poked me 3 times I literally was crying and begging them to stop at this point the person was training and the person watching over her they both didn’t know what they were doing and now I have the worst back pain of my life I asked the nurse for a heating pad but unfortunately this hospital doesn’t have them which I find weird so your basically forced to take either medication or take a hot shower to relieve your back pain I promise I would if I was you DO NOT DELIVER YOUR BABY HERE especially if you have Medicaid they will treat you like a Medicaid patient I had a better experience at texas health Presbyterian hospital You have to pay for parking the security person claims you can get it waived but it not true I wish they had free parking especially for mothers who just had a baby and for people who can’t afford to pay the parking fee Dr Eaves Is the best I really wish he delivered my baby instead dr Cobb if you do decide to have a baby here pick him please I promise you won’t regret it Labor and delivery I had a bad experience but after I had my baby I went upstairs to postpartum it was a 10/10 the nurses up there are amazing they made sure my baby was well taken care of and they even watched my baby for 3 hours at the nursery I was super exhausted this hospital isn’t a terrible hospital I just had a bad experience during my labor with the doctor don’t let my comment keep you from coming to the hospital I just want people to beware I hate bashing a hospital but this is what I experienced here

Staff lacks EMPATHY and COMPASSION. The Chaplain must be ā€œ burnt out ā€œ !! On the late evening of Friday November the 29th my brother wash rushed into the hospital by EMT's. My brother passed away that evening. It's bad enough that we had to wait so long for some type of update of his status. He did not have his id on him but my sister in law provided his info to the emts and he was still listed as a John Doe so it took awhile before we would be given any info. I understand there are policies, procedures and HIPPA guidelines to be followed. The only pastor working that evening ( at least that is what he told us) was abrasive and lacked patience and empathy. As I repeated to him several times " this maybe your five thousand time doing this today or in general but this is fresh and new to us.... we are just moments in". Of course we cried, we probably screamed. We where hurting. Per the crematory we would not be able to see him once they received the body. So there at the hospital is where we would need to say our final goodbyes. To actually see and touch him for the last time and we were RUSHED!! The pastor told us we only had so much time and he had other families to attend to. My son went to get my mother who lives in Carrollton, about a 30 to 45 min drive. The whole time he was gone we had to plead with the pastor and staff to wait to give us time for her to arrive. The pastor was saying he had to go. They would only allow two back at a time to see him. By the time I was in condition to see him they where like no one else can go back. We pleaded with the pastor who was the only one who could take us back I guess. He finally allowed me to go back and while back there he rushed us. I begged him just to give us more time for my mom to arrive. He was just sort of cold and lacked compassion in the tone that he spoke to us in. My God if he is burnt out he needs to leave this profession/ position for someone with empathy and compassion. I did not get his name. He was a tall African man. Please talk to him. If he is a "pastor " he needs to explore other options where he can utilize his pastoral skill because this is No LONGER it !!

I had been experiencing some horrible allergy reactions to what I had no idea where it came from, which woke me from sleep at 2am, and a following day of work, which I had to be there at 8 am. I had awakened to swollen & itching all over by body. I proceeded to a local emergency room who told me that without insurance I would had to pay from $300 to $3700 dollars a visit. I then left and went to one of our local hospitals where I explained my situation to them all. The reason I’m giving the details is because of my symptoms and my treatment I received at Charlton Methodist Hospital. Everyone was extremely nice however, I just didn’t quite understand if my complaints were as I said before, what was x-rays and checking my heart for?šŸ¤ØšŸ§šŸ¤·šŸ½ā€ā™€ļø They also had given me Benadryl which calm my itching down a for the moment, next day back to itching and swollen hands now not feet. Okay long story it’s that next day, and I’m now at work and I bought calamine lotion to see if it would help and it did ease some of my stress, but by the end of my work day I’m back to severe itching. I then went to Methodist Hospital where from start to completion and even in there amazement of wondering how this happened to me, to which šŸ¤·šŸ½ā€ā™€ļø I had no clue either. I’m really not an outside person, don’t run around in grass, but I do suffer from allergies from time to time. I really wanted to post about the wonderful experience I had at Methodist. Everyone from start to finish took my terrible week of misery, and suffering to heart and I Thank You All so much! I would like to thank Mary the PA and Xavier, RN. Both of them took a look at me and we all talked about what it could be and came up with a plan. They treated me well, and I’m so grateful. ā€œ This is why we run to the hospital, to feel better. Honestly I might add… I’m really not a person who goes to the hospital unless necessary, and this was!! I had a wonderful experience and a great night of rest. Thank you all Methodist Dallas Medical Center!ā¤ļøšŸ™šŸ½

You have to pay for parking the security person claims you can get it waived but it not true I wish they had free parking especially for mothers who just had a baby and for people who can’t afford to pay the parking fee

Dr Eaves Is the best I really wish he delivered my baby instead dr Cobb if you do decide to have a baby here pick him please I promise you won’t regret it

Labor and delivery I had a bad experience but after I had my baby I went upstairs to postpartum it was a 10/10 the nurses up there are amazing they made sure my baby was well taken care of and they even watched my baby for 3 hours at the nursery I was super exhausted this hospital isn’t a terrible hospital I just had a bad experience during my labor with the doctor don’t let my comment keep you from coming to the hospital I just want people to beware I hate bashing a hospital but this is what I...

I just LOVEEE coming to this hospital to give birth. Have been coming since 2011, with each labor and delivery, it has been so nice, very welcoming, a great experience and keeps getting better and better!! Dr Goswami and the nurse who helped him deliver my baby (i can’t remember her name) made my delivery very smooth, comfortable and easy as possible. Loved that i was able to play a song on repeat during labor without any judgement or problems!!! Nurse Norma (on the 3rd floor) was very understanding and soooo helpful as well, made me feel as if i known her because how she cared about my wellbeing and make sure i was comfortable in every way. Once they move you up to the 4th floor they give you a hot meal and an extra tray of food to enjoy and eat after childbirth, which makes it even better because like most birthing mothers after childbirth, we get hungry!! It really made me feel so special to know the whole staff really cares about their patients. And on the 4th floor nurse Sibby was extremely helpful in many ways, i am sooo grateful to have met her and have her as my nurse during night shifts. And the lactationist, nurse Conny is/was super passionate about helping mothers to breastfeed and not feel discouraged about your own milk supply even if you believe you aren’t making any milk because you don’t see any milk come out and made a safe environment to ask questions and help without any sort of judgement. Nurse Amber was a very sweet and funny lady who also made my experience wonderful there and even made my husband feel comfortable enough to make small jokes. Oooh another great thing about getting discharged from the hospital is, they give you a bag of food to take home with you as well!!! Like what?! Made me feel a real vip, lol. I can’t express enough how wonderful and awesome this hospital has always been and continues to keep getting better and making my experience more special than the last. I would highly recommend and encourage everyone or anyone to come to this amazing hospital to give birth to your little bundle of joy. Would give 10 or even 100 stars if i could, the experience here was just incredible, no amount of words can describe or explain how much it was worth coming here each time for childbirth. May God continue to guide and bless all of the staff members here and their hard work and...

Introduction Over the past six months, my wife and I have had the opportunity to visit Methodist of Dallas three times for her treatment, and each time, we've been thoroughly impressed. From the very first visit, we knew we were in good hands. It's rare to find such consistently high-quality care, and we felt it was important to share our experience.

Seamless Experience from Start to Finish One of the things that stood out the most during our visits was the attention to detail in every aspect of the hospital. Parking was easy and stress-free, which is something many people don’t think about until they’re there. The security staff was friendly and welcoming, making us feel safe and at ease right from the start.

Outstanding Staff From the moment we entered the hospital, we encountered professionalism and compassion. The nurses were not only knowledgeable but also truly caring. They made sure to address any concerns we had and took the time to explain things in detail, always putting us at ease.

Top-Tier Medical Care When it comes to doctors, we’ve had the privilege of being cared for by Dr. Dickerman and Dr. Tarnasky. Both of them are exemplary in their fields, displaying an unmatched level of expertise while maintaining a personal and empathetic approach to patient care. My wife and I both felt comfortable and confident in their hands, and it’s clear they have a genuine interest in their patients' well-being.

Hospital Amenities It’s also worth mentioning the hospital’s cafeteria, which offers a wide variety of meals and snacks. It was a pleasant surprise to find healthy options, and the quality of the food was above what we expected. These little things made our visits much more comfortable during long days at the hospital.

Conclusion It’s not often that one has the opportunity to sing the praises of a medical facility, but in the case of Methodist of Dallas, it’s truly warranted. Every part of our experience has been smooth, professional, and caring. Whether it’s the parking, the staff, or the medical care, everything is top-notch. We are deeply grateful for the care my wife has received, and we wholeheartedly recommend this hospital to anyone in need of...
