I had a wonderful experience here. DJ exceeded my expectations for a great deep tissue massage. She made me feel comfortable and relaxed. She focused on all the areas I mentioned having tension. I told her I’ve been clenching my jaw and she gave me the best face massage I didn’t even know I needed! She used warm towels, essential oils, and a CBD product that felt incredible! EDIT: EXTREMELY DISAPPOINTED. I have seen DJ twice now for services. I have no complaints about her abilities as a masseuse, but I unfortunately will not be booking with her again in the future. Last night I scheduled an appointment with her for 5pm the following day. I woke up with a fever and texted her early in the morning to ask if I could please reschedule due to illness. To my surprise, she replied saying she would send me an invoice for 50% of the services because it was a same day cancellation. I asked if she could please make a one time exception due to my condition and mentioned I had never canceled on her before. Despite this, she said she would make no exception and referenced her consent form. While I completely understand businesses need to have policies in place, I was shocked that she offered no flexibility even for situations of illness. Further, I didn’t ask to cancel, I asked to reschedule. I find this decision not only unreasonable, but completely lacking empathy. It’s frustrating trying to deal with a person/business that’s more focused on enforcing rigid policies than considering the circumstances of her clients. Being sick is out of my control and charging me a cancellation fee under these conditions is unfair and exploitative. There are plenty of other masseuses to give your business to that value their clients and show flexibility when life happens.

Oh and for the record, she told me at my first appointment that if I leave her a 5 star review, she would discount my next massage. So I did, and I’m sure others have done the same.
