So so so disappointed…. i usually don’t write negative reviews, but I feel compelled to share my disappointing experience with Nurse Practitioner- Rose Knight. She initially prescribed an oral medication and a topical lotion for my skin condition. Unfortunately, instead of improving, my symptoms became significantly worse. I experienced intense itching and burning, which made everything even more uncomfortable. I returned to the clinic hoping for further guidance or an alternative treatment, but after waiting for over 20 minutes, I was told that Nurse Practitioner Knight was unavailable and would not be seeing me. I asked the nurse whether I should stop using the medication since it was clearly causing a bad reaction. The nurse simply told me I could stop using it if I want to—without offering any additional guidance, explanation, or follow-up care. I felt dismissed and unsupported. To make matters worse, Nurse Practitioner Knight initially prescribed the wrong dosage of the oral medication, which caused serious stomach discomfort. It was only corrected later, after I had already been taking the incorrect dose for some time. Even after switching to the correct dosage and completing the antibiotics, my skin condition has only worsened. I had hoped for professional and attentive care, but my experience was far from that. I left feeling neglected and frustrated, and unfortunately, I would not feel confident recommending this NP to others. …

I have been going to US dermatology partners since I was a kid since I have a family history of skin cancer and have had two scares myself. I have always had great experiences, but my last two visits were anything but great. Both visits were with Rose Knight (who is not a doctor btw for those calling her one in their reviews) and the second one was even worse than the first. She is rude and condescending and rushed out of the room within less than 5 minutes. She mocked me when I answered her question and told me that all dermatologists make fun of the item I use on my skin and that I needed to stop watching TikTok. I explained to her that I don’t even have a TikTok and my friend recommended this product because we both have very sensitive skin and I was recently diagnosed with an autoimmune disorder so my skin has been even more sensitive and tender which is why I stopped store brand products and switched to this. She ignored me and told me that what I’m doing sounded like a lot even though I told her all I do is cleanse and moisturize and use hypochlorous acid spray. She then went on to prescribe like 5 products and didn’t explain any of them. She clearly didn’t care what I had to say and just pushed several ointments for me to buy. She then tried to leave after less than 5 minutes of being with me and I had to remind her that I had two new moles that were raised and itchy which she seemed annoyed to even have to look at. She said “you’re going to have new moles for the next like 20 years”. I asked her to look anyways and she glanced at them and didn’t ask about past history of skin cancer at all. She left the room after that and I felt extremely rushed and brushed off. I asked the nurse if she could come back because, with how rude and abrasive she was, I had forgotten to mention new rashes on my hands and the nurse said she was unavailable to do that because she was already with another patient. When we walked out, I saw her walking outside to her car. When I was checking out, I requested to see the actual MD for my next visit and the front desk associate said they have a lot of issues with Rose Knight and that she completely understood. This provider does not represent US dermatology in a positive way at all. I feel sorry for others who have had to deal with her and had their problems brushed...

I had a really bad experience with this place, specifically with Rose Knight. I went for a rash and thinking a dermatologist would see me but they assigned Ms. Knight to me. I found out afterwards that she was a Physician Assistant. She diagnosed me with Fungus, prescribed some cream, talc and some pills that had very bad and scary side effects (Fluconazole). I was not getting better and the 4th of July came and could not get anyone there. It was a torture and my symptoms were getting worse and spreading to other areas, including private areas. I spare you the pictures!!! I decided once the long weekend passed to go to another Dermatologist, he did the correct diagnosis which was Psoriasis and an infection. He said that applying all those creams and talc made everything much worse and now I had an infection for which he also prescribed antibiotics. The skin was all a disaster, red with postules, super tender and painful. I tell you it was not pretty and I went to their office and did my claim, they took more that a week to get back to me knowing that a patient was in distress. I sent them the pictures of the state of my rash and sent all the documentation from my Dermatologist. I asked for a reimbursement of my medical expenses because it was not fair what had happened. The Person that replied, Kerri Prachy, the practice administrator, told me that the whole team was backing up Rose Knight in her diagnosis. Really? so other dermatologists from this firm were agreeing with this misdiagnosis after there was more than enough proof that it was not fungus but a case of psoriasis? I felt insulted and abused! They refused to give me my money back. The arrogance of this people is unacceptable and I will try to go through a different route to get reimbursed. Simply because people need to take responsibility, if they were wrong and caused suffering and made me take a pill that I did not need to take , why did I have to pay for this?? What world are we living in? Thank you for listening. I do not like and probably this is the first time I am writing a review on something, if I recall correctly but we must not be silent in these cases. It is a total abuse from U.S Dermatology Partners and an arrogance on their part to treat a...

I set up an appointment to visit U.S. Dermatology Partners Dallas Uptown (USDPU). I was reminded that I would need a referral from my PCP to use my insurance. I reached out to my PCP for the referral and verified that it was processed for Dr. Thrash.

I received and completed the following information that was texted from USDPU:

“Hello this is U.S. Dermatology Uptown, please click on the link below to COMPLETE PATIENT registration and update INSURANCE information. PLAN TO ARRIVE 15MIN. PRIOR TO APPT.”

Oddly, I arrived 15 minutes early to my 1:00 pm appointment only to discover everyone was at lunch. I signed in and waited. With no one in sight, I had to walk to another office to ask for a code to use the restroom.

A little after 1:00, my name was called (or at least an attempt at my name with no attempt to understand how to pronounce it correctly). There were no greeting nor pleasantries, simply “It says here that you were aware you’d need a referral.” I explained that my PCP had processed the referral for Dr. Thrash, so I would contact her office to get the referral code. My PCP is very responsive, so I knew I could reach out if I encountered any issues, assuming arriving 15 minutes prior to my appointment would leave me with ample time to do so. However, despite arriving early and completing my pre work, little grace was spared: “You’ll need to reschedule or pay out of pocket if you don’t have your referral code by 1:15.” At this point, I realized this office was not somewhere I wanted support that day nor any other, so I left.

I received a call from my PCP’s office with the code shortly after leaving but I no longer had any desire to work with this company. Although I’m sure Dr. Thrash would have been as great as reviews suggests, I’m happy that I did not start business with USDPU due to my poor front desk experience.

After calling to set up an appointment with North Dallas Dermatology Associates, the positive interaction over the phone makes me feel certain they will provide a better customer...
