Sephora — Attraction in Daly City

Extremely deceiving at the cash register to try to get you to sign up with their credit card. The woman checking me out offered the credit card. I told her I wasn't interested if the interest rates were higher than 27%. She says there is no annual fee, and then she proceeds to tell me, "We don't charge interest if you make your payment on time." Which is so deceiving because this isn't true. I asked her, "So you're telling me if I make a minimum payment on the card, I will not be charged interest then?" In which she then hands me a booklet about the credit card. Telling me I can "look for myself." In which I did and pointed out to her that the rate was over 28% and that I'm not interested. Mind you, there is a LONG line behind me, and she is the only person at the register because the other girl just went on lunch. Then she tells me I could get so many points if I sign up for the credit card. After I stated I wasn't interested twice. I was getting anxious that everyone was waiting behind me, and this woman kept pushing the credit card on me that I didn't want. This is wrong on so many levels. If you guys are going to have your reps pushing credit cards, this isn't the way to do it. So condescending to be handed a booklet and told to look for myself when she was clearly exaggerating her statement. Of course, there is no interest fee if you pay the full amount before the bill is due. But to tell me there's no interest fee if I pay my bill on time is deceitful to the fullest. I will never return to this location again. Not one person offered me help on the floor. The line was long, and I waited just to get to the register just to be harassed about a line of credit I don't even want. Spent over $100 here on moisturizer for heaven's sake! Re-train your staff on the upsell for credit cards because if I was a young person and didn't know any better, I would be a world of trouble. Would you want your daughter to be...

I called two hours ahead of time to make get an appointment for a facial at 4:30pm. I got there at 4:15 let them know I was there early. I noticed some people waiting but I didn’t say anything. The lady who was supposed to do my facial told me she “was running a LITTLE late” I said no problem I’ll wait. Then I saw her start working on someone and 15 minutes went by. I told her my appointment was at 4:30pm and I noticed she was not running a little late. She double booked and had a whole appointment ahead of mine. I told her I couldn’t stay and she did not care she said that’s fine. I asked to speak to the manger and she did not care either. They both did not care for my time for my loyalty and for the thousands of dollars I’ve spent at Sephora. I asked the manger if I can get a discount since they were the ones who double booked me and lied about being on time. The manger went to the back and asked another manager and that person DID NOT CARE EITHER and said no. By this time I was there for over an hour, wasted my evening. This Sephora has horrible customer service experience. Never going back. Telling my friends not to shop...

They don’t check their online orders period. Multiple times do I wait almost the entire day only for it to be canceled. It’s not just me either; it’s my sister and co-workers too. All the same Sephora. Weeks ago I had an order for pick up because my sister was running errands and I had work. MORE THAN FOUR HOURS AND ITS STILL PROCESSING. My sister goes in and it’s not busy and asks about it. The employees respond with “Well is she here?” What kind of response is that? My sister is there and asking for a reason! I had put my order in at 11am and my sister was there at 4:30pm. There is zero excuse. They claimed they’re short staffed but my sister had applied to that same Sephora and they rejected her application. This store is not busy. They don’t want to do their jobs. I put an order in for same day delivery around 11:30am today and it’s almost 4:30pm now. Guess what? Still processing! This is ridiculous.
