I went there yesterday to the DIY bar to try a new slime experience for fun and I didn’t really enjoy my experience… I’m a slime expert and I’ve been making slime since 2018 and I felt your employees completely ignored that and treated me like a little kid who doesn’t know what she is doing or talking about when I’m almost 18… they told me to only use 5 spays of scent and when I said I wanted it stronger they said it wasn’t meant to be strong and they told me as if I didn’t know to not put too much dye or it would stain my hands… I felt anxious and uncomfortable there and I’m autistic and I have anxiety… and they don’t accept cash and that was all I had but luckily one of your employees, Kim, was nice enough and helped me use the cash anyway buy getting change from another store in the mall then using her phone to pay when I gave her the cash so because of that I’m adding an extra star… and they said I couldn’t add the glitter myself (I’m not 2…I’m not gonna eat it) so I just had a scented purple cloud slime with no glitter and the mixers were useless so I used my hands which I don’t mind doing… I feel it’s more of a beginner’s slime bar and isn’t expert friendly as they believe they know more than you… I felt dismissed and not taken seriously… also why is it called “DIY” slime bar if you can’t fully do it yourself and you are given limits… I probably will never utilize a “DIY” slime bar again… also I don’t know the name of the employee that was helping me with the slime bar but I think she had brown curly hair… also they were overpriced as that one slime I mentioned costed $27 something and I feel $10-$15 would of been more appropriate especially after how I...
Read moreTook my daughter here on her 4th birthday on a weekday. She was the only child there. She wasnt allowed to touch anything. Like not even allowed to press the button to start the mixer, squeeze in any ingredients, or help scoop the mix-ins. The staff pretty much does everything. The only thing she gets to touch is slime at the end after they scoop everything in there for you. Not worth the money nor experience. Better off trying it at home.
Further comment: my daughter is 5 now so i don’t remember the name of the young woman who was working. The day we came in was a Monday Nov 6. In the morning-noon. There was NOBODY else in the store. The only thing memorable was the employee constantly saying “please no touching”. Geez. She’s 4. If you care so much about the amounts of the formula, why don’t you scoop out measurement and hand it over to the child to pour. Why can’t she even turn on the mixer? We came in there on my daughters birthday to so she can experience to make a slime like on YouTube. I found out it’s basically a place where you pay an adult to make slime.
We haven’t been back since and i purposely don’t walk by. I willingly pay these astronomical prices on my kids birthdays because i am grateful for their being. But overall it wasn’t a good experience so i can’t recommend slime...
Read moreplease update your closing hours online or on the front of your store. We drove far because we promised our son he could make slime. It says you close at 9pm. We came yesterday and the front sliding door/gate was down with the lights off at 8pm. Figured maybe it was a family emergency or something. We came back today and at 8:30 the front gate was down and they were closed again. I saw an employee and asked why they closed early. They said they need at least 30 minutes to clean. I asked why don’t they have their closing hours at 8:30 then? The employee didn’t answer and walked away. My son was super upset and we would have came earlier had there been correct...
