I was in this store yesterday. I bought 2 shirts and was the only person in the store except for what appeared to be a “younger than me” person with purple hair at the counter and an older lady who appeared to be the owner. When I entered, she was cleaning up an egg that had been thrown in the doorway: she was very frustrated but very nice. When I checked out, on the counter, there was a sign that said “no refunds only exchanges with a receipt”. I took my purchase, tied it up in the bag, and headed to the convention center next door. When I got back to my hotel room later that night, I opened the bag and there was no receipt. I didn’t have a purse, only my phone and case, so I didn’t have a receipt in there. I then tried on the shirt, and I needed a larger size. The next day (not 24 hours later) I went into the store and explained the situation to the girl with purple hair. All she did was shake her head and point to the sign. I explained there wasn’t a receipt in my bag but kept pointing to the sign and shaking her head in a condescending manner, unwilling to accept the fact that she may have failed to give me a receipt.

It’s not like I was asking for a refund! I understand there is a sign on the counter, but if there is a possibility the problem was on their end and not even use words to speak to me is frustrating. Using her finger to point at the sign and head shake is not the way to communicate with patrons.

‼️If I could give this place a 0, I would. The lady who seemed to be the owner is TERRIBLE! Worst customer service ever. As soon as we walked in she was not welcoming. As soon as we left she was ready to call the tow truck. She kept saying that “we aren’t in her store” so she decided to call the tow truck. SHE IS HORRIBLE AND SHOULD NOT BE A BUSINESS OWNER!!!‼️DO NOT WALK...

Can’t believe in today’s society, they are displaying t-shirts that show so much hate and disgust. People are suffering and they want to profit on their disparity. Spoke to the person running the store and I don’t think she understood enough English....
