Target used to be a store I depended on for a higher quality of product, and a varied selection of merchandise. It has come to the point in this country where the people have very little voice in what is happening to our government, but to see this corporation blindly follow policies that are meant to threaten and control how businesses treat their employees, and hire personnel is absolutely unacceptable. Profit margins have thinned post covid, but the acceptance of the non-DEI stance of the federal government, and the elimination of Target’s efforts to provide Diversity, Equity and Inclusion is frankly pathetic. I do realize you may have taken this action in name only, and will continue to hire according to the previous policies you had in place, but the fact that this corporation would choose to act in such a clandestine way, and mask any efforts towards DEI is almost worse than eliminating it entirely - standing up to Trump and his cronies seems to make everyone into a jellyfish with no spine whatsoever. You are losing customers, and you have lost me as a customer. The American people have the power of the purse behind us, and I am using mine to say shame on you, shame on Target for not standing up to the bully in the...
Read moreUpon arrival in the store there was no cart cleaning supplies or hand sanitizer, nor any evidence that anyone else was cleaning the carts between customer. I went shopping for swimming pools and children's bicycles as well as women's shorts. There were no pools or bikes and the selection of shorts was disappointing. I did find some jumbo crayons for a good price. When I arrived at the checkout counter with my one and only item the crayons rang up for three dollars more than the display said. The clerk wouldn't honor the price on the display and said that someone must have stocked them wrong. It was an utter waste of my time. I was rather frustrated, but in their defense I went to 4 other stores that have historically carried kiddie pools and no one has them. Apparently pools and bicycles are items that we can't get...
Read moreI love shopping at Target, but my experience at West Saginaw last Saturday didn’t go so well. Not only did the associate leave the security tag on my pants, the pants were on the shelf dirty. Once I got home, took my jeans out the bag, I noticed the red security tag was still on my jeans, and they were stained, by this time it’s 9pm, the store closes at 10pm. I called spoke with Thomas the closing lead, he mentioned right away “this happens all the time” and was unwilling to to compensate my time. I planned on wearing the jeans the next morning, so I had to get back out to have the tag taken off.
If this happens all the time, it should be addressed. I felt Thomas could care less of the inconvenience this caused me. I will not shop at West Saginaw Target again, I don’t like how I was treated, and this wasn’t my...
