1 star because of their cancellation policy. I love CorePower classes and the community, huge thanks to the amazing teachers and the welcoming environment, but definitely no thanks to their corporate policies, which feel antiquated and embarrassing for them. I recently moved out of state and called to cancel my membership. It had just renewed on the 1st, and I called on the 2nd. Not only was I told I couldnât get a refund, but since I was 29 days before the next billing cycle (instead of the required 30), Iâd still be charged again next month. Iâm already out of state and canât use any of the credits. I asked if I could transfer them to friends who still live there or even use them for merchandiseâalso a no. It felt like theft hidden behind âcorporate policy.â Considering how expensive these classes and memberships are, this kind of âgotchaâ approach feels outdated and wrong. Itâs disappointing they werenât willing to work with me at all. I imagine a lot of their client base are young people without tons of disposable incomeâread the room??? Weâre here for community and great workouts, not to get completely screwed...
Read moreI really like this place! Super inviting and supportive yogi, steam studios, and lots of static holdsâperfect if youâre looking to improve your muscular control, stretch, and detox. Theyâll recommend a C1 or C2 course to start with, and thatâs fair, but be prepared for the C2 course to run fast for someone who doesnât know all the positions yet.
Studio includes showers, and thereâs nothing like taking one after sweating profusely for an hour. đ© They lock it during sessions, so youâll need to come on time, every time. That said, my experience is that their C2 class happens multiple times in a day, so if youâre late for one, you can generally hang out and catch the next. There are three-hour parking spaces in a turn just north of the studio, though they may be occupied at certain parts of the day; thus, it may be beneficial to bus or cycle in, if possible.
They offer the first two weeks for a dollar, at unlimited course booking, and theyâll rent out yoga mats for USD$2 in a session. Worth a try for the C2âs and CRâs. Highly...
