Denver Mattress — Attraction in Denver

Denver Mattress makes the best, highest value mattresses. We got a queen mattress from them when we got married . 10 years later, 3rd kid, we gave our still super-comfortable mattress to someone else and bought a king size from another company. By 5 years later it wasn't comfortable any more, all lumpy and sloped; we suffered a couple of years and just went back into Denver Mattress to go back to what worked for us before. (That queen mattress, by the way? Still totally comfortable!)

We were greeted promptly by Alan, who was super friendly and knowledgeable. He directed us towards a couple of likely possibilities and also looked up what we'd gotten years ago. Alan helped us find everything we needed, didn't try to upsell us, and had us all set up with delivery in a week, less than 40 minutes from walking in the door. We're very pleased, had a great experience tonight and are looking forward to our mattress in a week!

We got our son's mattress from this same location a couple of years back and they took good care of us then too. We're never getting mattresses anywhere else again.

Edited to add: Delivery was on time, and the delivery folks were courteous, knowledgeable, speedy, and just did an all-around great job. And our mattress is super comfortable!

Edited again to add: We just went back today to get a new mattress for one of our kids, and were lucky enough to get Alan again. He helped us find the right mattress in no time, and since it was in stock we picked it up and brought it home. Easiest mattress shopping in the history of mattress shopping. (And we went with another mattress made by Denver Mattress direct. They really are a great value for a comfortable mattress that lasts such a long time!)

Jacob took the time to ask what I was looking for, show me every relevant pillow option, and answer more questions after I lay down with each to try them out. Came into store today because we just moved into a new home and needed 3 new beds. Michael L. was super helpful and knowledgeable and helped us to get exactly what we needed without being pushy. We are super happy with our purchases and Michael even made sure we got the best deal available for the beds and the frames and all the extras like sheets and pillows! We were able to get exactly what we needed and wanted and with Michael's help we will have our new beds by this weekend, so we are so happy that we came into the store today and so very happy and thankful that Michael was there to assist us! I was also contemplating buying one of the upgraded massaging bases for my mattress and ultimately decided that I really wanted one. So I did go back to the store a couple days later and Chris helped me. He was also extremely knowledgeable and polite and explained to me the three different varieties of electronic bases, however, I did not feel that he was pushy at all and he gave me enough information to choose which one was best for me. I am beyond excited to sleep on my new mattress with my new electronic base! Everyone in my household now has a mattress from Denver Mattress Company and or a base and we are all extremely satisfied! It helps to have employees like Michael and Chris who are knowledgeable and make you feel comfortable, but that don't make you feel like all they care about is you buying the most expensive item. I will definitely be going back to this store if we are in need of any more bedding items...

My husband and I went in to look for a California King since we are so tall and originally had a king.

We went in on Black Friday and purchased a mattress in a California King. All was great and we were excited about our new mattress.

Fast forward to 3 weeks when we get our new mattress. My husband and I laid down on the mattress and realized it feels shorter than it should. We measured the top (who care about the bottom length as it doesn’t help with our feet hanging over) and it was legitimately 81 inches. We looked online and the style of the mattress was 82 inches for this brand of mattress, not the standard 84 inches.

My next step was to call our sale associate, Lydian, who helped us purchase the mattress and told her what we have noticed. Her response was basically to wait a month and let the mattress “expand” and then we could return it for something else, taking no accountability that we were misinformed and acted like she had no idea.

The only reason I am giving this 2 stars is because after that response, we called back and talked to Alan who is the store manager. He was aware of what happened, automatically sent a new mattress and apologized profusely for the mistake.

2 inches might not sound like a big deal, but the whole reason we upgraded is for the extra length and when you pay $2700 on a new mattress you hope to make an informed decision. Make sure you ask these questions when purchasing a mattress otherwise you might feel like you were...
