Chipotle Mexican Grill — Restaurant in Denver

Pick up Order was ready but not put out on the shelf and I arrived 20min after my pick up time. The guy who was making the pick up orders had them stacked behind him refusing to set them out. Took awhile to see me and another customer standing there waiting by the pickup shelf before he finally comes over to ask us if we had an order and our names. I ordered a double protein steak burrito with extra rice, extra tomato salsa, extra cheese, extra sour cream and corn salsa. It was the smallest burrito I have ever received from chipotle. And had barely any steak(not even the amount I usually get for normal serving). And you guessed it none of the other extras. I tried calling but it said to come on her for complaints and someone will get back to me in one day. I was on my lunch break so just now got to do this. I had not had chipotle in awhile was really looking forward to it and needed my extra protein and wanted the other extras I ordered to make it taste the way I like. But it was extremely disappointing. Does not make me want to go back. Especially to this location. The guy seemed overwhelmed with tickets hanging down to the floor and back up. But he should still be making the exact order you placed especially when you are charged over $5 for double protein. Also ordered ahead online so I would not have to wait and be late for my lunch break. Arrived 20 min after my pick up time and still have to wait for him to pay attention that ppl are waiting. And he took his time walking over to ask if were ordered pick up. Him having to get our names and look through all the orders he had sitting on the shelf in the back behind him. Instead of putting them on the pick up shelf was very inconvenient. I wasted a lot of time waiting and didn’t even had time to eat On my break. Then to only have to wait to see he skimped on everything especially the double protein was...

Waited 30 minutes past my online pickup time with 2 hungry kids and zero communication from the staff. Nobody at the store even acknowledged I was there while waiting in the pickup area (even if just to confirm my order was received). After being 20 minutes behind I had to proactively ask the counter if they were working on my order and they responded with "we're busy". When I asked another employee why my food was 30 minutes late they responded "I don't make online orders". While the credit card machine was down for in-store purchases (which definitely created some chaos), they were turning most customers away ....and there was actually less stress on the kitchen. For a while I thought my order wasn't received at the store. I've been coming to this location for 10+yrs and customer service has declined year over year. Pick another Chipotle location (i.e. inside Southwest Plaza mall) close by. Final note - when I went into the Chipotle app to use its chat service (Pepper) to alert them of my poor experience....it showed my order as being on-time and automatically disconnected me. Somebody reviewed that they prioritize to go orders, but I order to go here(not anymore!), and come in and wait 15 - 20 minutes past my pick up time(and occasionallylonger than that), meanwhile everyone walking in the door after me, waiting in line to order at the counter get their food and eat while I stand there waiting for an order I put in 30 minutes ago. Priority does not seem to fall on online orders at all. I order from this location because it is very near to my home, but I now drive 15 minutes to the 3170 Wadsworth location and have zero issues getting my order on time, even during lunch or dinner, and the quality of food is much higher as well. More flavor, properly cooked at the other location, the Crestline location can't even get the rice cooked properly. The untensil/drink station is commonly filthy as well, with trash, spilled drinks, etc. They also seem to dish smaller portions than other Chipotle's I visit, maybe to keep up and minimize the amount of food they have to cook(competely speculatory), but all other locations I visit in the area give noticeably larger portions.
