Goodwill Store & Donation Center — Attraction in Denver

I was doing community service there. I was supposed to get off at 7pm. I actually worked past my time til 7:15. I went looking for a manager to sign my paperwork to the TIME I LEFT THE BUILDING!!! NOT THE HOURS I WORKED WHICH I WORKED OVER THE TIME I WAS SUPPOSED TO DOING THEM A FAVOR TO GET THE JOB DONE!!!!! I was told ask JACKY to sign me out. As I was trying to explain to her I needed my paperwork to be signed the time I leave the building, not the work hours for them, but for my PO to know the time I LEAVE THE BUILDING! SHE OBVIOUSLY DOESNT UNDERSTAND LEGAL DOCUMENTS OR ENGLISH SHE KEPT SAYING NO YOU QUIT WORKING AT 7:15 REPEATEDLY WHICH I NEEDED THE TIME I LEFT THE BUILDING WHICH WAS GOING TO BE 7:28 UNTIL SHE MADE A BIG SCENE. I TRIED GETTING MY PAPERWORK BACK SHE GRABBED THEM WITH BOTH HANDS THEN SCREAMED DONT TOUCH ME! WE WERE PRETTY MUCH PLAYING TUG A WAR WITH MY PAPERWORK AND SHE CALLED THE COPS FOR KEEPING MY PAPERWORK! THE COPS CAME AND SHE LIED SAYING I WAS TRYING TO SCRATCH HER WHICH IS A LIE I TRIED GETTING MY OWN LEGAL PAPERWORK BACK BECAUSE I REFUSE TO GO BACK THERE TO WORK. SHE WAS THINKING I WAS TRYING TO PUT EXTRA TIME ON THE WORK SHEET WHICH WASN'T THE CASE AT ALL PLUS I WAS SUPPOSED TO LEAVE AT 7 BUT STOOD WORKING TIL 7:15. I WAS ASKING FOR MY LEGAL PAPERWORK FOR MY PO TO TRACK TIME WHEN I LEAVE THE BUILDING TO THE TIME I GET HOME. I HAD TO CALL THE POLICE BACK ON HERHTO GET MY OWN PAPAPERWORK BACK! SHE WAS GOING TO GET ME IN TROUBLE WHEN SHE WAS IN THE WRONG I RECORDED HER TOO AND IM NOT STUPID ENOUGH TO GET AN ASSULT CHARGE ON HER WHEN IM DEALING WITH MY OWN LEGAL ISSUES. I ACTUALLY DID STAY AFTER THE TIME I WAD SUPPOSED TO, TO FINISH THE JOB!OUT OF COURTEOUSY! SO THE COPS HAD TO GIVE ME THEIR CARD WITH THE TIME I HAD LEFT THE BUILDING WHICH WAS 8:10 AFTER ALL JACKIES DRAMA! ALL I NEEDED WAS A SIGNATURE OF THE TIME I LEFT THE BUILDING AND JACKIE TURNED IT INTO THIS. APPARENTLY JACKIE DOESNT COMPREHEND THE SITUATION AND NEEDS TO BE FIRED BEFORE THIS HAPPENS AGAIN WITH SOMEONE ELSE AND IS WORSE ON HER PART AND IM NOT JEOPARDIZING MY FREEDOM OVER HER STUPIDINESS! I was shopping at this location with my grandmother. We were looking throught the men's section and saw there was an unlabeled shirt. I tried it on and saw I loved it but still, no price. So my grandmother talked with an employee and she said she could get it priced. So she looked up the shirt online and saw it was a $148 shirt. She walked away with the shirt leaving my grandmother and I clueless as to what was happening. She came back and told us we had to talk to a lady up front about the price. Come to find out they were taking the shirt off the floor because it couldn't be priced. Both my grandmother and I were very upset about what happened. The woman got a manager and said she could try to get the shirt priced. Still all the while she had a less then polite attitude. She told my grandmother that seniors get a 15% off discount. She came back with the price of the shirt as $9.99, with no discount. We decided to not get the shirt because it was the most expensive shirt I've ever seen at a goodwill for it being USED. We went to the counter to pay for the remainder of our items and my grandmother showed her ID to get the 15% senior discount. She didn't get the discount and even better, security was called to check the cameras when my grandmother and I were discussing how we weren't going pay $9.99 for the shirt. This was the most disappointing and aggravating experience I've ever had at a Goodwill. I don't plan on shopping at this store, or any Goodwill for that...

Service was average. I bought a chair, had to leave it there, cause I had to find somebody with a big enough vehicle to hire. Arrived next day (befor 24hrs.) To pick up... My chair was gone. No one knew anything about it until I said I was going to call the police. Then, someone said it might have been mistakenly sold to another person, while I was holding to ticket, and reciept. The manager said that they would give me any item in the store. Their selection was quite unwanted. Then he offered my money back, I did not want to take it. I feel if I did, then by law it would be settled. I asked for the district manager's number. It was late, so I called her the next day. Told her everything, all she offered me was. The same thing the manager of the store did, I refused and said that a crime has happened in your store. What would happen if it was store's property? She said that their lost prevention would be called, and also the police. But since it was my property, they did not do anything. Out of this whole ordeal, I am out the money for the chair, the money to hire people to pick up the chair, and nobody apologized.
