Mushroom Classroom — Attraction in Denver

The instructor did a great job presenting. The class was on time, informative, and very helpful in preparing me to start growing at home. I particularly enjoyed the Q&A segment at the end.

I learned about spores and liquid cultures, agar, substrate, types of grow mediums to choose from and general mycology knowledge.

I was so impressed with the experience that I purchased an all in one grow bag at the end of the class. It comes inoculated, so all I have to do is watch it grow. I’m super excited to see how it performs. Five stars!

*UPDATES: I got a Golden Teacher kit at the shop and ended up getting 1,2,3,4,5,6,7 harvests so far!!! The mushrooms do turn black if you let the spores drop, which I do because they grow bigger if you let them grow a bit longer and before they start to wilt, I pick them and dry them.

In one of the photos you can see what the very small pins look like also what the ripe cap looks like and also what the spore covered ones look like! GNARLY!!! I knew very little about growing mushrooms so I took one of his classes I seen on event bright I was very excited because I’ve been looking to learn for a while but haven’t seen anything so I was excited and in the class he broke it down and made it so simple for me to understand.

I didn't know how to feel about ordering the grow bag kit, but I knew I made the right decision when I was opening the package. It was put together professionally with detailed instructions. When I had a question about the process I sent an email to them and they promptly replied. I have had so much fun watching it grow, I've already started pinning and I've got a little babies growing in the bag.
