I scheduled an appt for my daughter 3 days ago. Received 3 different reminder texts and I confirmed yesterday via text - (the texts were clearly written by someone, not all were automated). I did get 1 automated one and 2 email reminders too.
Today I went in 10 min early and they said my daughter was not scheduled for an appt. I showed them the confirmation texts - they said it was weird; then said they could still take us (even after I said it wasnât a problem if we needed to come back if there was a mistake or if it was too busy).
The entire haircut was from 4-4:08. They rushed it because they had a group of people walk in at the same time. So much so that the stylist said let me dry your hair some more so itâs not so wet (while she was standing at the counter). She asked if we liked it while she was clearly rushing to get to the other 3 people in seats.
I recognize mistakes happen- but this was crazy. Itâs not fair that Iâm rushed. I paid $21 for a 7 minute haircut. Even while cutting it the stylists were talking to each other about how they were going to take the group that walked in and how they wouldnât have taken us as a walk in - but we werenât. She made a comment that we would just do a one length cut because of the time. Come on.

She cut my 4- and 5-year-old daughtersâ hair on Saturday after it had become extremely knotted and mattedâhonestly, it was unmanageable. I was so anxious walking into the salon, worried about being judged or making anyone uncomfortable because of the state of their hair. But from the moment we met Liz, all of that fear melted away. She was incredibly patient, kind, and completely unphased. She spoke so gently to my girls, made them feel comfortable and seen, and handled their hair with such care and grace. Not only was she skilled and efficient, but she was warm and engaging, making what could have been a stressful and emotional experience into something peaceful. What touched me the most was how compassionate and nonjudgmental she wasâtoward me as a mom and toward my girls. I never felt embarrassed or rushed. Liz approached the situation with heart and professionalism, and I left feeling so grateful that we ended up in her chair. Just got a hair cut 2 days ago and everything seemed fine. The woman (I believe Tracy) cutting my hair was getting through it pretty quick and was working with me well when I would ask for a little more here or there. But when she finished, she never showed me the back of my head. When I got home I noticed my side burns were not trimmed evenly and then my father noticed I had two spots on the back of my head behind my ears that were short (what I asked for) but the rest of it was way too long. This mistake made it look like I had two bald spots behind my ears. I'm extremely disappointed in the lack of care and attention to detail.
