Read moreOn Sat 12/21, I went into this store for a candle I saw online. Online the candle was listed on sale and offered the option to buy online and pickup at the Deptford store location within 2hrs. Since I was in the area I went directly to the store and asked for the candle. The staff mentioned that the candle was not out since it was a spring scent but they could go in the back and see if they had them. The lady came back to let me know they had them and would hold the candle behind the counter until I was done shopping. When I went to check-out the candle was full price. I brought up the candle online, at the sale price and the option to buy online w/ store pickup. I handed my phone to Mia, she looked at the phone and continued to tell me it’s not on sale, and she couldn't match the sale price. I questioned why? So let me get this correct, I could buy online and pickup at the store but she couldn't honor the sale price with an in-store purchase? Mia then proceeded to toss my work phone across the counter. Mia is lucky my work phone didn't crack. I will NEVER step foot back in this store. I've called the customer service number twice and the wait time has been excessive, never getting to speak to a live rep. The way I was treated in this store by Mia was uncalled for. If Mia is this miserable maybe she should consider staying home and NOT working...
Read moreI just had to make a return and wow this was the worst customer service experience I had in a while. I believe her name is Mellisa and she shouldn’t have a job here or anywhere in customer service. Even when walking up to make the return, the first thing out of her mouth was receipt please, like we are inconveniencing her by coming in and returning this item. Next when asked if there is anything wrong with the item I reply no, just looks to big, she responds with doesn’t it give dimensions? Everything out of her mouth screamed she didn’t wanna be there and she didn’t wanna be helping us return this item. This was a very uncomfortable return process and I will not be shopping here again after that. Do I not have a right to return an item I don’t like after seeing it in my house? Kirkland please let me know because if I have to endure being questioned like I’m doing something wrong then why even allow people to return items.
