Our family had the most amazing time aboard the Buccaneer Pirate Ship in Destin, Florida! From the moment we set sail, it was clear that this was going to be an experience like no other. The crew, dressed in full pirate gear, was not only entertaining but also incredibly engaging with both kids and adults alike.

The ship itself is a sight to behold—authentically designed to look and feel like a real pirate vessel. As soon as we stepped on board, we were transported back in time to the Golden Age of Piracy. The kids were immediately captivated, and the adults couldn't help but get caught up in the fun as well.

What truly made the trip unforgettable was the attention to detail. The crew members went above and beyond to make every child feel special. From pirate-themed games and sword fights to treasure hunts and water cannon battles, the activities were non-stop and perfectly tailored for all ages. Our son Cannon, who is 5, was absolutely in his element, and even our 1.5-year-old daughter, Kate, was mesmerized by all the excitement.

But it’s not just about the kids—there’s plenty for adults to enjoy too! The stunning views of the Destin harbor and Gulf of Mexico were the perfect backdrop for a relaxing cruise. The crew’s humor and pirate antics had everyone laughing, and there was even time to just sit back and soak in the scenery with a cool drink in hand.

Safety was clearly a priority, and we felt completely at ease the entire time. The ship was well-maintained, and the crew was professional, ensuring that everyone had fun while staying safe.

This was an incredible experience. Anyone with kids would absolutely love this. Our kid had the time of his life. They sail you around on this massive engine operated pirate ship. They dry fire a cannon. The pirates never once broke character even during personal conversations. They have a bar inside the galley with tons of options for the parents. This was by far one of the coolest things I've ever seen. The crew consisted of Fox, Lady Jane, Scarlett, Riptide, and Captain Cutthroat. Fox, the bartender, was my absolute favorite. He was hilarious the entire time and makes an excellent Scallywag drink. Lady Jane was the calm and collected pirate. Scarlett is AMAZING with kids and very funny. Riptide was on point every single second of the cruise. He is also awesome with the kids. He even let like 20 kids beat him up with foam swords. Captain Cutthroat was an excellent captain. Stern yet playful sometimes, and really knows the ship inside and out, especially the controls. I recommend this to everyone in the Destin area with kids. Even if you don't have kids and just love pirates, these guys will show you an awesome time. Also, that ship costs 3...

We had a fantastic time aboard the Buccaneer pirate ship! We had nine and the eleven year-old boys. I wasn't sure what to expect after booking. I was afraid maybe they were too old, but they both had a great time. My 11-year-old told me it was more fun than he thought it would be, so I'm super glad that we went ahead and did it! Crew were great. They stayed in character the whole time and made the entire trip a lot of fun for both the kids and adults alike. The only thing I wish I would have known I assumed maybe I guess I thought I had read that they dressed them up but they don't. If your kids want an eye patch or a hat or a sword it all has to be purchased on board, I was a little let down by that because I thought that was included with price but it was not. Not a huge game changer but I just wish I would have known ahead of time. Other than that, the drinks were great for the adults 🙂 The entertainment was great for the kids, as well as some great jokes for the adults. The views were fantastic. The sunset was unbeatable.
