I did a lot of research before we chose Seablaster...cost, what was included etc. We did the dolphin/snorkeling. We have a family of 5 and kids ages 21,18 and 12. However there were quite a few smaller kiddos too. We had Captin Kenneth and his crew who were amazing! The music was fun and family friendly, he had open bar (beer and wine) and sodas, water etc as part of the cost (opened after snorkeling when we got ready to cruise the coast) They did a great job coming around and making sure everyone was taken care of. You can bring your own snacks. When we started he did a great job explaining everything and our first stop was snorkeling. If you don't wish to snorkel you can still swim in the ocean or hang on the beach area where they are at. We did that first. It is easy to do and you can decide how far out you want to go based on your comfort and they have one of their crew available in the water too. After that we got back on and enjoyed an awesome ride. You can get up and walk around or head to the front and enjoy the wind in your hair! Or just sit back and enjoy the ride. Dolphins aren't guaranteed obliviously it's nature...but he always will do his best to find them...our trip the boat next to us had some in sight so they let us know and we were able to watch the Dolphins swimming in that boats waves. From there we cruised the coastline and and let each of the kids come up and help stear the boat and be mini Captins for a few! Conversation with all the crew was good and they were happy to answer any questions. Oh, and they came around and would squirt us off with some water to cool us down! Loved every second of it and I highly recommend them. Some feel because there is beer and wine it's a party atmosphere. I'd say it isn't your laid back quiet ride but it's still family appropriate. The kids had fun and I do feel it's still a great trip for any mix of ages. I am glad we went and definitely...

Our Sunset Dolphin Watching experience was great and Destin's Original Sea Blaster owes us nothing! The reservation process was simple and easy. The check in process was the same. We were given clear instructions on where to park to avoid a ticket and then where to line up to board. The 3 man crew was small but mighty and active. The boat was clean and the boarding process was smooth and went pretty fast. We managed to get on early enough to get good seats at the bow of the vessel which definitely helped to have a positive experience. The pilot gave all the necessary safety instructions and we were off. The other 2 members of the crew came around every 15 minutes (as promised during the announcements) with bottles of wine and pitchers of beer as well as Coke products. It was all you could drink and I drank all I could! It was a 2 hour cruise and we didn't go 15 minutes without seeing dolphins which was the point. We also went out into the bay and got to go Ricky Bobby fast! We got to watch the sunset and they made sure that both sides of the boat got a good angle and got to take good pictures. The experience was worth every penny! We felt safe and had a great time. Oh, and they played great music as well!
Negatives:
It was very hot the day we went. We were told at check in we would be let on the boat at 4:15pm for our 4:45pm cruise. At 4:15PM my wife lines up on the dock where we were told but the crew wasn't ready I guess. However, they didn't acknowledge her presence and the fact that she was standing there waiting. She finally came and sat down with me and my daughter at the restaurant behind the boat. Boarding didn't start until after 4:45PM and where as we were literally the first or 2nd people to check in, by the time we got back in line there were at least 10 people now ahead of us. Not sure why were told boarding was so early if it wasn't...
Read moreThe experience on the boat was awesome! The guys working it made it a ton of fun. Beautiful scenery, saw dolphins... I'd give it a 5-star for the experience. But one thing stuck in my crawl that knocks it down a couple of stars. When you come aboard, there's a photographer who takes your picture so they can sell it to you at the end of the cruise. I wanted to pas on having my picture taken but I was told it was their "policy" to take everyone's picture, and if I didn't want to let her, then I'll have to exit the boat. I asked why it's a policy to take our pictures, and she said it's just their policy and she wouldn't let me take a seat until I let her take my picture. It may seem like a small thing, but there could be people who really don't want their picture taken for serious reasons. It's definitely a ploy for an upsell; it's their boat and they have the right to make rules and if you don't like them, you can decide to not ride. But 1) it's an invasive "policy", and 2) the photographer was rude to me when I expressed my desire to not partake, and 3) it wasn't stated that this is a 'policy' of theirs prior to me purchasing the ticket. I don't know if I would have gotten a refund if I'd have refused and left the boat. I decided to concede and stay. I'm glad I did. It was truly a blast. But I'll choose a different boat tour...
