Café Café — Restaurant in Destin

Nice little chill spot! The cashier girl in front is an absolute darling. I came in with my 2 kids and one of them needs special care. She catered to my family and many others gracefully. The store was half way full and everyone seemed happy and she constantly wore a smile. I had crazy requests due to my daughters sickness and she filled every one of them with a smile. She interacted great with everyone and even made my daughter smile. Today my daughter asked if we could go back to see her before we left but sadly they are closed at this time. If only more customer service people were like her! Boss if you ever read this, you have a good worker, polite and friendly and she makes good coffee. My coffee was just right. During my road-trip, stumbled upon this cafe. They were very friendly and were serving food/coffee even when a lot of other restaurants/cafes were closed during holidays. That’s how we stumbled upon this.

I kinda feel bad to say this, but the avocado toast was atrocious, which ain’t the word I use to describe a food item quite often. I mean it wasn’t a bad dish, just don’t call it avocado toast because there was hardly any avocado on it. There was a ultra tiny green layer of avocado mash at the bottom and a ton of spring mix on top of the bread. Even the Bread used for the toast wasn’t a super high quality bread.

The look and vibe of the cafe is very enticing and modern and friendly. The menu options are great and are clearly indicated on the screens inside the cafe — they just weren’t executed well. The seating indoor and outsider is very nice.

I've had breakfast at McDonald's that was so much better than this for half the price. Our family of 4 ate for $65, but we only ordered 3 meals (my husband and I shared). We got the salmon avocado toast, avocado toast, and pancakes with fruit to eat. For drinks we got bottled water a caramel l frappe, a cinnamon sugar iced latte, and salted caramel cold brew. I have hade vanilla iced coffee from Mickey D's that was better. The pancakes were microwaved. The avocado toast wasn't toast...just bread.
